It could be a mistaking identity, such thing had happened to me in my secondary school days, I was in ss3 at that time, I was attacked on my way home by hoodlums, just because a js2 pupil had pointed at me as senior whom had flogged him days back. Anyway they came looking for me the following morning at school to apologize when they found out I wasn't the one, life sometimes can be unfair. |

Source: https://punchng.com/man-shot-dead-during-food-purchase. Everyday weird news in Nigeria everyday killings in Nigeria. I think the population is too massive and the same citizens are depopulating it from banditry to herdsmen, from boyfriends to girlfriends or girlfriends killing boyfriends plus husbands and wives killing each other too many to mention. |

meobizy:Some people will never understand this. Always blend into your environment. Don't be the one wearing red and blue cover shoes and driving sports cars in a village setting. You could be attacked and even killed for being a nuisance. |

Early this year around okoko, me and one of my brother saw it life on Sunday afternoon when this cult boys rounded up on guy like that,we wanted to intervene when the guys brought out guns and ask us to leave immediately. They took the guy and put on the bike and ran away.we later hear that the boy was killed around the same area later that Sunday.I told my brother never to make any friends both male and female in that area.Thank God he is a busy type that always go out early in the morning and return home late. The level of cultism in lagos is under reported.Crime is very high in lagos more than people think. |

favour32:Though this story was copied from Punch newspaper,I totally agree with you on the dealth of true journalism in Nigeria, probably since the days of SM and bloggers. Even in the Punch report itself, you can see how poor things have become from this part of the story:"... who craved anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the subject" For heavens sake what's the need of telling us the anonymity is due to the sensitive nature. We already know this of course. Simply source wants to remain anonymous is what is required! |

Love800:Get the explanation very well. For someone trying to disappear from a location to another through several states. It's DIFFICULT to track the disappeared person if the person doesn't use a phone, bank service and any other electronic devices. Capisce? |

Leave it to Nigerians to question somebody’s personal experience. What I heard while in the location and what you believe are two different things. happney65: |
