Suicideboy:I can find same things about chile too online. You have still not answered what makes brazil a shithole. Do you live in brazil? How is brazil a shithole country? |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by tensazangetsu20(op): 2:38pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
oluyemi123:6n won’t do anything now. To even go to Brazil from Nigeria you need at least 20 million naira now. 1 dollar is 1500 o |

tensazangetsu20:On what visa? This is the first thing anyone who complains about the economics in a developed country should be asked. On what class/category of visa did you move with? This is before asking if the person speaks Portuguese. If he wants economic support as a Black man, perhaps he should consider moving to the State of Bahia. Then comes the questions: - Do you speak Portuguese? - Do you have the right visa to get an okay job in the region? |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by Gerrard59(m): 5:17pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
Majorly21:Nevertheless, people are living in Nigeria and thriving. I understand the bold you outlined, but for the majority, Nigeria is home, and there is nothing they can do about it - even if they want to. Ozzyetomi once mentioned that some people cannot leave Nigeria because they want their children to grow up amongst people who look like them (the children). Everyone cannot japa. But then, Lagos is not Nigeria. Those issues you mentioned, some people would never experience most of them because they don't live in Lagos and would never do so. |

tensazangetsu20:I am not even referring to Brazil just letting the other person know that any shit hole he will decide to move to ,even if it's within Africa will cost him more than 6m just to go see good electricity that he may not be able to pay for in the shit hole. Then is it worth it . |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by Letsmove: 2:31pm On Jul 29, 2025 |
if you are living in a mansion in Nigeria, you shouldn't be living in favela in Brazil . A decent house in a condominium should be affordable for you .Brazil has her own problem and going there to seek alms wont give you a better life Suicideboy: |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by oluyemi123: 2:53pm On Jul 29, 2025*. Modified: 3:12pm On Jul 29, 2025 |
Letsmove:Maybe he he doesn't mean Favela like that but a middle income area that will almost look like you are in Bodija, Nigeria. There are Estate that you will have a very good house in Owerri, Akure, Ekiti, Kaduna and Jos without having to pay heavy rent maybe 700k a year in Nigeria, now compare to Brazil, if you are lucky to get a house of 1000 reais a month, the area will not be as tushed as where you will get a rent or 700k in the above mentioned places. Brazil is good for the passport not as being advertised by this current YouTubers or social media people, most people are feeding from consultation fees they are receiving and after the passport they do japa to another country. Free hospital treatment, na everyday you go dy go hospital? Free transportation on Sunday , na wakawaka you wn dy to on Sunday. If you have money to do biz Brazil is good ,to get a job is not easy and when you manage to get one the pay is so bad , if you work remotely and earn forex you will live better. If you like to have free free things and be living like a peasant sha, no issue . |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXr2IzW06X0 Interview of a Nigerian banker in brazil. Funny enough, when I was still learning to code brazil was my first choice. I was even learning portuguese. This was way back in 2020. My plans changed for Chile immediately I got a job and started saving money. If I had gone to brazil, I would have still had a good life too like I do in Chile. |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by oluyemi123: 3:15pm On Jul 29, 2025 |
tensazangetsu20:Bro, forget this lady abeg. We are telling you the reality not all this human being that want 20k consultation fees. You no watch her video talking about Cape Verde, Malaysia even Kuwait as better options now? Ask Odogwu kiwi , he lived in Brazil before, maybe I will bring our chats sef. Out of 100 in Brazil na 20 they do well and suffer dy dia well. |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by oluyemi123: 3:17pm On Jul 29, 2025 |
tensazangetsu20:For your case , you will likely be working for a foreign company as you a tech guru ,you will be among the few and mind you Portuguese is harder to learn than Spanish and Spanish is more useful than Portuguese but you will need the Portuguese language to do almost anything in Brazil. |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by tensazangetsu20(op): 3:19pm On Jul 29, 2025 |
oluyemi123:It’s the same thing here in Chile. A lot of black people here are suffering. The Haitians that have been here for a long time hardly have any good jobs. You only see them selling stuff on the street and they start running once police is coming but you can’t use that to generalize. I will always say people should improve on themselves before migration cause money at the end of it all is exchange of value. |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by tensazangetsu20(op): 3:24pm On Jul 29, 2025 |
oluyemi123:But there’s work in Brazil sha at least in tech. A lot of tech giants are also present in Brazil and I still get recruiters from Brazil asking me to move there for work but I think Chile to Brazil is a very huge downgrade 😂. The only country I can leave Chile for is the USA and even at that not as a student only as a green card holder. |

tensazangetsu20:You see a balanced perspective now , but this people will whitewash anything and even say no racism in Brazil when it's the other way around. Varanba from Ghana is already in the US , the George Family with her 2 Kids already moved to Austria( the family is from Cameroon), another of my guy from another African countries who was a teacher in Sao Luis already moved to the US , Nikki Lorraine recently moved to Ireland this is after spending 10- 15yrs to obtain passport. Brazil is a good and better option for passport and if you have money for biz but not for work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1NQDKEtWdg?si=Yacx73xV9H3oO_XG |

tensazangetsu20:Chile is well developed and safer than Brazil. In Brazil, you can be walking in a very good neighborhood and the next thing you are already in a Favela. Darkito, a Ghanian YouTuber living in Brazil was in Chile recently and was impressed and thrilled about the country, the architecture, modernization, planning etc Brazil is just an upgrade of Nigeria. |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by tensazangetsu20(op): 3:37pm On Jul 29, 2025 |
oluyemi123:Chile is like Europe. Chile, Argentina and Uruguay are the most developed countries in South America. I have been to even deep villages in Chile like deep villages and the same thing you can find in cities is the same thing you can find in the villages. |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by oluyemi123: 3:45pm On Jul 29, 2025 |
tensazangetsu20:You are correct, Brazil has more of Portuguese architecture which makes it look like modern Lagos unless you travel to places like Curitiba and some German dominated areas but when it comes to party and having fun na Brazil. |

| Re: Memoirs From Chile by Letsmove: 12:01am On Jul 30, 2025 |
oluyemi123:Brazil is big and there is jo equality in class but no country in South America is as developed as Brasil.i have been to Argentina,Chile and Colombia . There are many cities in the interior of Sao Paulo with massive infrastructure . Curitiba, Florianópolis are famous among European immigrants. |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by oluyemi123: 7:33am On Jul 30, 2025 |
tensazangetsu20:The blacks that was mixed with white na then be the most racist sef , the video no be lie ooo and check comments section too. Na only Bahia na him you fit feel at home. |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by oluyemi123: 10:32pm On Jul 30, 2025 |
tensazangetsu20:Did you even watch the video from Blinky you posted? I just had the time to watch now and if you are observant you will notice say the guy acknowledged racism but he didn't want to go deep because he lives there. |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by Letsmove: 1:50pm On Jul 31, 2025 |
oluyemi123:Racism is in everywhere even in Nigeria.Try to have an Albino as a friend and you will be surprised how they are being treated. |
| Re: Memoirs From Chile by oluyemi123: 7:49pm On Jul 31, 2025 |
Letsmove:I know , even amongst people of the same state. In Kogi state we have Igbira, Yoruba and other tribes and there is discrimination amongst them from the same state. I love Brazil and it's where I will stay but I just don't like the way some YouTubers are deceiving people like it's Utopia. Tell people the reality and what to expect and let them prepare not just because of consultation fees then we will now whitewash everything. I saw one crying recently that one of them deceived her to Brazil. |
