In the future, nothing Federal will have a yoruba mans name labelled on it. I hope the APC in Lagos State is fully aware of the implications of this decision. |

chopnaira:Why tag igbos .. funny I'm not even igbo,, and it's not only igbos that are saying Lagos is no man's land by virtue of it being our former federal Capital territory.. I stand for truth and justice.. iwuyanwu rightly said Lagos is not igbo land ..but didn't deny emperical fact that it is owned by all Nigerian citizens. why do u guys find this hard to take .. the earlier you kiss the truth..the better |

Finquas:Go and read the Land Use Act. After 99 years, the LUA reverts ownership of all properties in the state to the Governor. Mind you, that was in 1978. If you are buying a property with a 30-year old title, na 69 years remain. You see all your properties in Lagos, your children will lose everything to the Lagos State Government. Sope o ti lo ![]() |

Finquas:Lagos belongs to Awori, Egba, Egbado, Ijebu, Egun stock of the Yorubas just as Anambra, Imo, Enugu, e.t.c belongs to the Igbos, Edo belongs to Benin, Calabar to Efik e.t.c Atleast Enugu and Calabar were also former capital too. |

chopnaira:Former dosn't erase the emperical fact that it was largely developed by oil and gas majorly from my own territory.. You cant sell ur cake and still want to have it in full .. ogaaaa oooo ![]() |

Finquas:What other parts of Nigeria wasnt developed with oil and gas and agriculture money? Was the 2nd Niger bridge not developed with oil and gas money yet have you seen hausa or yoruba laying claim to Anambra or delta? Amaech built a rail all the way to Niger republic. Have you seen Efik or ibibio people laying claim to Niger republic or every land that the train line passes? Abeg, let's us be discussing like people that passed through the 4 walls of a University. |

Goodvibes007:Bro nobody is saying oda states in the south west is no man's land .. have u heard it anywhere?? So pls let's stay on facts and stop being petty .. As long as Lagos occupied the status of a federal Capital in time pAst and the resources of Nigeria was used massively to develop it.. it's common logic and stands on justice that it belongs to all Nigerians.. fullstop |

Finquas:Lol... Change of names came like play like play. Before 2023 election you could not believe it if I had told you all Igbos street names in Lagos will be changed to Yoruba names. But e happen now and nothing (not even media rants) could stop it. This one go happen. You no go believe am when a member will raise it until it becomes law. The way it will happen ehn...make I no too loose mouth. Na on top reregistration and continuous denials with deadlines until u are forced to sell before deadline. It is craftily crafted. No Be Juju Be Dat? |

Finquas:Tbe bridge connects delta to Anambra and its was built with Nigerian oil money. Which was also your primary argument about Lagos being built with oil money hence you laying claim to it as if your ancestors spilt their blood for the land. |

Finquas:Whether federal whether colonial. It was a former capital. It was developed with money from the SS. So is Enugu and Calabar no man's land? |
| Re: Lagos State Continues Street Renaming; Tony now Femi Pedro (pic) by Goodvibes007: 4:00pm On Jul 29, 2025 |
In Imo state, Okworocha named a street after Buhari despite Imo enjoying Nigeria's money. Guess what happend, the indigenes revolted and the governor bowed to their pressure. Whatever is good for the goose is good for the gander.
