Bro stick to the Gaza issue, enough with the counter-accusations.
Yes I said the Nigerian army is guilty of war crimes, are going to whitewash that too ?

The ogoniland case has been swept under the carpet, I hope you won't try to tarnish the image of Honorable Ken Saro-Wiwa by absolving the Nigerian army of that .
Another well documented instance is the 2014 report by Amnesty international.

"We have consistently been saying the Nigerian government needs to ensure that the culture of impunity which is entrenched within the Nigerian security services is addressed immediately," Netsanet Belay, AI's African Director, told Anadolu Agency.

"Investigation must be conducted and those found to have (committed) such atrocities must be held accountable," he said.

In a report released Tuesday Amnesty said it had obtained video footage showing civilian detainees being slaughtered by a combined team of soldiers and members of the government-backed Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) vigilante group.

"The footage, obtained from numerous sources during a recent trip to Borno state, reveals graphic evidence of multiple war crimes being carried out in Nigeria," it said. "

Another report by Al Jazeera in Feb 2010
"Nigerian police and military units carried out extra-judicial killings last year in the aftermath of clashes with members of a Muslim group in the north of the country, footage obtained by Al Jazeera appears to confirm.

An estimated 1,000 people were killed as Nigerian government forces fought Boko Haram in Borno, Yobe, Kano and Bauchi states in July and August of 2009.

But the footage obtained by Al Jazeera shows that many of the deaths occurred only after the fighting was over.

"

The media space is filled to the brim containing war crimes committed by the Nigerian army.
Funny you mentioned Nigerian army
You are very funny bro.
If anybody makes a submission I consider serious here, I will verify. I don't swallow anything hook, line and sinker.
I went through Amnesty International website and particular the section about Nigeria. The last report they made about Nigeria was made on July 10 and it has zero correlation with what you stated on here.
I am not absolving NA of war crimes and there is every reason to initially view them as war criminals based on what they have done before, that will definitely not mean that every subsequent operation carried out by them will be a war crime. No, no, no.

I perfectly understand you brother. But one thing is clear. The fact that the Nigerian army did so and so in the south south and some other places does not mean every action of theirs is a war crime. Okay, Russia commits war crime in Ukraine, does that mean they will commit war crime in every subsequent operation?
We can't stick to the Gaza Issue. There is no single situation in the world right now that is a first of its kind. While they may not be totally identical, there will be similarities and I need you to answer specifically if Nigerian army deliberately harmed innocent civilians while fighting Boko Haram (as per your simplest definition of war crime)

I see this as an attempt to evade a very important question that can be used to determine whether IDF is actually committing war crimes in Gaza or not.
You said you wanted instances the Nigerian army targeted civilians, I gave you three such scenarios that was well documented.

The last instance, cited the Nigerian army extrajudicially killing people after the fighting was over during a campaign against Boko haram, it's all over the media space. I even went further to included a date to make it easy for you to search for it.

Nevertheless, I'm certain you got the point, it's clear as day the Nigerian army committed war crimes, the media space is awashed with evidences to corroborate my stance.

If we will be using your examples now, the action of a single soldier or a group of soldiers that didn't get their orders from the command is enough to determine war crime.
Bro, let me tell you something. Corporate veil is never used to commit crimes. If it is a company, there is something we call "lifting the veil of incorporation" which will make the single individual or group of individuals to be solely responsible for their own actions. Same way a police officer or soldier will be solely responsible for their actions when acting out of order.

You are giving me examples of a single soldier.

Going back to your Aljazeera report that said most of the killings occured "when the fight was over". I asked: Has the fight against Boko Haram ever been over? When it comes to anything terrorism, I will rather trust the akara seller in my backyard than Aljazeera (that's a pun by the way)

We can just assume that they deleted the report when they found out it wasnt true. 🤣🤣

Bro, I want to believe you did not properly digest this report.
I read this entire report and saw this. Apparently, those slaughtered were captured together with Boko Haram members during an attack on a military barrack. Bro, are you kidding me? Which innocent civilian joins hands with terrorists to go and attack a military barrack?
They are either sympathizers or Boko Haram members themselves. This should not even be a question.

⚡Around 20 minutes ago, an Iskander-M ballistic missile struck an AFU training ground near Goncharivske, Chernihiv Oblast.

An Orlan-10 recon drone adjusted the strike.

I hope you're familiar with the term extrajudicial killing, I don't understand why you're working tirelessly to prove or whitewash the atrocities of the NA. Credible media outlets have repeatedly called them out for it.

An extrajudicial killing is the deliberate killing of a person without the lawful authority granted by a judicial proceeding.

You are just giving me several definitions to hide the fact that those killings were never war crimes. Simple.... We went from terrorism to war crime and to extra judicial killings
Bro, this ride is getting wild.

In conclusion, your evidence does not substantiate your claim of the NA deliberately harming civilians in their fight against BH. There is simply no evidence of them committing war crime during their fight against BH. That doesn't mean I do not condemn their atrocities against the Ogoni 9 or the Odi massacre. Let's be factual.

You kept shifting the goal post, criticism is supposed to make us do better. Criticizing the NA is not unpatriotic but a measure to set a standard professionalism within our armed forces.
Personally, I believe the Nigerian army is complicit in war crimes, it appears you share other opinion perhaps out of being a patriotic citizens.

We both want the best for the NA, that's all that matters.
I'll leave you with my personal motto, For the love of God and Country.

⚡India's PM Modi:

No global leader asked us to stop. Even the US Vice President tried calling me for an hour on May 9, but I was in a crucial meeting with our armed forces.

When I called back, he warned of a possible Pakistani attack. I told him clearly — if Pakistan dares, it will pay a heavy price.
