Prepare well, it’s mostly behaviorally but appear technical.. if you excel, the second stage is within 24hrs..
All interviews will be concluded next week (end of July)..
May God ease our affairs.. not the end of the world..

What do you meant by Technical but Behavioral?
Can you give an example

Tell us about a time you make a mistake, what did you learn
Tell us about a time you had to remove yourself from difficult situation, how did you handle it
Tell about a time you had a difficult boss
Tell about a time you drove a change

Guys keep applying for other opportunities o Immediately I write exams finish I done apply for another, even if you attend interview, prepare well o like do it die matter but don't rest o, apply for another one fast

I don already write another exams since , waiting for next one , applying for more ...if you stay calm age go catch up with you before you know five years don wipe no job .... This is specially to the young graduate or younger folks

To all the young ones in this forum.. if you can and you have the means Japa early to countries that have the best opportunities for young graduates with competitive salaries. The competition for the high paying jobs is thick. The number of candidates applying for these roles overwhelmingly outweighs the number of positions available.

Its a sad reality. Do not make the mistake of waiting and solely hoping "only" for a high paying IOC job in Nigeria..there are numerous opportunities outside of this country beyond the spheres of oil and gas.

The truth is that how can someone have the opportunity to travel out? It's a big problem

Another issue is that most of us like looking out for major IOCs while neglecting smaller companies that are doing well and also paying well. I remembered getting my first offshore via nairaland.com. Most people that day in the comment section were screaming scam up and down, I just applied and was expecting the worst to happen. Only for me to be interviewed and I landed offshore. Some salaries were paid in dollar as at that time. What am I saying, don't despite small companies. Because you dont know them doesn't mean they are not good. There are many oil and gas producing companies doing well and paying very well. I was with them till they left Nigeria. Let's always be on the lookout for small companies too.

I don't believe you. Not because I am desperate for the job but they wouldn't do such interview in a long 1 week batch. They did aptitude with much crowd same day. You guys should stop

I know someone personally who did second interview for project engineer EH. That has been done since.

Yes behavioral questions were asked. Should last 1 hour but depends on how fast u can process your thoughts and give a valid answer to the questions. Add small lie join if e go favour u. In all, the decision lies with them. Interestingly everyone there is experienced, in fact u cannot survive d interview if u aren’t experienced. The company has a lot of guys they trained but did not employ as direct staff, these made up 98% of the population in the interview. For me, it is only fair that they get the job as staff this time around.

You right bro.. the second round happened today.. most of the guy that scaled through are either contract staff and/or Exxon trained..
they need more than one for this role so some other folks who interviewed first stage today will also have second stage tomorrow..

I wrote assessment for graduate wells offshore operations supervisor and still awaiting Exxon to attend to us.

Is this for a graduate role?

Yes, you are correct. Four people out of twenty interviewed yesterday had their second round today.
For those that had their First interview today, the successful ones will have 2nd round tomorrow.
