However after seeing reports on the same issue, the governor only hosted members of the falcon team who are from Imo State which I can't fault!
The governor is right in his action and I am sure he congratulated members of the team who are from Imo State and at large congratulate all members of falcon team.

In my opinion, I think I agree with him. This is a team we are talking about here, It wasn't only the igbo players that won the tournment, it was the whole team. This truth is that, this tribe of a thing would always be an issue. Look at the Lioness victory celebration, everyone came out as one to celebrate them, no igbo, no hausa and no yoruba, everyone came out as one to celebrate them. not that I am condemning the diversity of Nigeria, but we really need to learn to speak as one voice when it matters the most. This is a team comprising of players from different background and they played as one to achieve vistory. Hence, i believe same should be replicated in this case. The Governor ( not that I am his Fan anyway ) ought to have hosted the whole team. So in this one, I totally agree with VDM

You missed the point here. Uzo is wrong for inviting and hosting only igbos among the player he should have invite only Imo indegene in the team after he is not SE Governor-General so hope you can see where the tribal colouration entered into the whole thing?

However, let's be observant and vigilant to issues.
We need to be sure if it were the Igbos,or the Imo indigenes amongst the super falcons that were hosted by the Governor of Imo State.
The federal government hosted all the players and the technical crew which shows federal character.
In the past,some athletes have been hosted by the government of their state of origin.
Any state government could choose or decides to host her indigenes amongst the players.
Let's be guided.
