IMEI:This shoemaker parading as lawyer again. ![]() If you were worth your salt, he would engage you. He engages me because I am worth my salt. Everyone knows Mr usmanpogo very well on this thread. I can conveniently say there isn't a single person who will pin pointedly say he is biased or takes sides. He is one of the only three people I follow on the whole of Nairaland, not because of anything but because I learn from him. That doesn't mean I will not challenge him if I feel he is wrong. Don't drag him down to your level. Mr Lawyer that doesn't know he is the one that is supposed to prove a claim. |

IMEI:Yes, he has a fan and he has several fans. This isn't about pandering to him or anything. When you see people who are intelligent, acknowledge it. I acknowledge it. He is way way intelligent. He was the first to tell me about American foreign policy from the 18th century. I never knew that. And many more. As for you, the only thing you have created is blabbing and asking another to prove your claim of being a lawyer. Na me follow you go school? O ga ooo |

Gbadebo19:I thought I was a shoemaker? Anyways, I don't know what was in what I typed that compelled you to give me your Nairaland history...it seems you're scared he'll take my advice and ditch you, which might inturn make you question your existence Calm down with the Lawyer thing, on Nairaland, I'm an anonymous poster like you, not a lawyer. So dial down the insecurities |

IMEI:Yes, I thirst for mentorship. It's because I am never tired of learning and re learning. Unfortunately, the mentorship I thirst for is not from your type who don't know they are required by law to prove a claim they make. No set my brain into reverse gear Abeg. |

Gbadebo19:Let's not talk about school because, neither you nor anyone in your family, including whatever children you may have, can or will ever attend any of the schools I went to Secondly, you constantly bring up me being a lawyer which is a fact I usually allude to in response to comments from you exclusively. Now whether you claim I'm fake or whatever, I can categorically state I am indeed a Lawyer, but for all your empty boasts, you can't because you're not. You're still a Law student and that's if you haven't dropped out Outside of this thread, you can't roll in my circles...this isn't some empty boast, it's a fact because I'm distinct from you on all levels You amuse me always, like the class clown usually does |

Gbadebo19:When you type things like these, they just make you look foolish It's evident your knowledge of Law is very elementary, because the kind of things you try to use to one-up me are things that 100level students concern themselves with You want me to entertain nonsense talks of Statements of claims and the likes? Go do that with your fellow Law students...like I said, we're worlds apart |

⚡Japan stated that of the $550 billion Trump claimed as investment commitments from Japan into US, only 1-2% are actual investments. The remaining 98% are loans to the US at full market value.

Obedience40:Good. But your definition is vague, open to multiple interpretations, and excludes states from being categorized as state sponsors of terrorism. Firstly, are you implying that violence and intimidation meted against civilians for political purposes only qualifies as terrorism when it is unlawful. Are you saying such violence is not terrorism when it is lawful? I should add that most countries do not have any law against their governments using violence against their own population or even foreign populations (whether for political aims or not). So, your definition also clearly excludes states from being perpetrators of terror activities, whether within their own state or in foreign states. Secondly, your definition also does not capture multiple events that constitute unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims. Let me use two examples from Nigeria as examples so you can relate with them: The first is MEND aka Niger Delta militants. They were not considered terrorists even though they primarily used unlawful violence against civilians in pursuit for political aims. They killed soldiers at intervals but that was when the soldiers came after them or were guarding facilities they were attacking. Their primary targets were civilians, especially oil workers who they often kidnapped or killed. Let us also not forget that this same MEND popularized car bombing in Nigeria, particularly in the late 2000s, until Boko Haram took their place. But no one calls them terrorists despite what they did. The second is the October 1993 hijacking of a Nigeria Airways flight by four men from the Movement for the Advancement of Democracy. They seized an airplane filled with passengers, flying from Lagos to Abuja and diverted it to Niamey, Niger where they called for Sani Abacha to resign and return to democratic rule. The men were arrested after Nigerien troops stormed the plane and their actions clearly qualify as terrorist according to your definition, but no one calls them such. (There are other foreign groups but I deliberately used Nigeria since I believe you should know about them and can better relate with them.) Then let me make a final example of a foreign group that was labelled a terror group even though it does not meet your definition. That is the Irish Republican Army. They wanted to end British rule in Northern Ireland and unite it with Ireland. The UK categorized them as terrorists even though they primarily used unlawful violence against the British military, police, and paramilitary rather than civilians. |

Hoaxen:"Not everyone has a sharp wit and intellect, but with the way you easily understood my post, I doff my hat for you" How you see this as anything other than a compliment to Shoodboi is astounding Shoodboi's reply was in sharp contrast to your allies', who had completely misunderstood my post...it seems you took issue with me pointing out the shallowness of your allies' comprehension "The fools are desperately trying to infuse meanings to what I said inorder to invalidate my disgust at israel's actions" And then your comment: "Called those who do not swallow your propaganda without question, fools" 1. I don't try to indoctrinate anyone, so associating me with propaganda is a miss 2. I have no other words to call people who insist on a false opinion, despite rebuttals clarifying my actual position except fools "What's the point of arguing with people who'll never concede to superior arguments? Unless you enjoy endless (read pointless) engagements" And then your comment: "And now you call your arguments superior" 1. I didn't reference any of my previous posts, I was directly quoting usmanpogo...any sensible person would know I was endorsing his arguments as superior 2. It is a fact that the monikers usmanpogo was going against never concede even a point, regardless of whatever evidence that's put up. It has happened time and again 3. Others agree to being wrong once in a while, but those guys never How you interprete any of that to mean self-veneration on my part, is curious to say the least |
