In my opinion, I think I agree with him. This is a team we are talking about here, It wasn't only the igbo players that won the tournment, it was the whole team. This truth is that, this tribe of a thing would always be an issue. Look at the Lioness victory celebration, everyone came out as one to celebrate them, no igbo, no hausa and no yoruba, everyone came out as one to celebrate them. not that I am condemning the diversity of Nigeria, but we really need to learn to speak as one voice when it matters the most. This is a team comprising of players from different background and they played as one to achieve vistory. Hence, i believe same should be replicated in this case. If the governor had rewarded the players from his state, it is understandable but, to have hosted IGBO players, it makes no sense.

It's like for Lagos governor to call Yoruba players and host them and reward them. It is being bias and unwise.
