From the US mission in Nigeria X account formerly (twitter) "While Nigerians are urged to endure hardship from the ruling APC , The government and governors are splurging billions on new government houses. Instead of investing in schools, Clinics and agriculture leaders prioritize buildings they barely use. https://x.com/USinNigeria/status/1950217781858697432?t=Q0JhoIBCO0gQJc-BbCrIJQ&s=08

Governors get away with this nonsense because the spotlight is always on the president. We blame the president for every single thing while governors squander federal allocations without anyone ever calling them out except for the governor of Lagos and Ogun states. |

I don't know what Oga in Ibadan is renovating when they are Schools that need renovation, some of this schools don't have walls sef, broken windows . But I know in his case no one yabs him because they have tasted many worse supremo .. so he is still much more better from the lots, although he's constructing new bridge where the school is, he should Biko extract small change and renovate the school . You need to see future talents coming to play football there in the evening. Let me also acknowledge Oga in Ibadan is constructing massive road network, opening up new area. |

The US should focus on their country and leave us alone. While many of their citizens are homeless, they're also wasting billions of dollars fighting war in Ukraine. The should focus on how to get donations to pay off their national debt. |

While ordinary Nigerians are told to “endure economic hardship like labor pains,” our elected governors are padding their egos with billion-naira government mansions. The recent exposé, spotlighted by the U.S. Mission in Nigeria, doesn’t just reflect poor judgment, it exposes a pattern of elite indifference and systemic economic abuse. Organizations like BudgIT Nigeria rightly condemn how basic needs, schools, health clinics, and agriculture, are chronically underfunded, while palatial residences gather dust. Meanwhile, @CISLACNigeria drives the point deeper: “More money, little accountability, and no priority.” These aren’t isolated incidents, they are symptoms of a corrupt fiscal immune system. Nigeria’s poor are being emotionally anesthetized with propaganda, gaslit to embrace suffering as patriotic while their leaders live like monarchs on taxpayer blood. It is an egregious betrayal of public trust, one that widens the inequality gap and kneecaps development.

This is insane for an embassy to be writing. Who is behind the tweet? Wow. This is not their job at all. Mind your business and issue visas. |

The handwriting has never been this clearer Whatever took BAT to Brazil na him Sabi He didn't achieve anything for Nigeria with that trip and will still get burnt in the end If I were him I will start retracing my steps already to appeal more to Nigerians cos the masters that came for GEJ seem to have been rattled and have set their beam on him! Win win for the Nigerian masses anyway |

seunmsg:no governor was blamed during Jonathan's tenure, Tinubu single handedly orchestrated a protest against Gej because of same subsidy that's no longer a scam. So why you trying to blame the governors and exonerate the bulaba man? Before you sow seed of betrayals always think of tomorrow. |

The truth cannot be hidden and the masses are feeling the heat. People cannot afford a meal in a day; not to talk of 3 square meals. Life is very grim and you can see renewed hopelessness instead of hope bodily etched on people's forehead. No propaganda or Bullion Van can change the narrative. It has never been this bad. Proverb 29:2 ADC ; HERE WE COME!!! |

kmst:I saw a video, a man said prior to 2025 election they went to the US and told them buhari was the best thing for Nigeria. The US was a bit skeptical due to his low religion tolerance. So Jonathan was majorly pushed out by Obama who has even sent 200 marines to Ghana should incase he refused to step down. And now it seems Tinubu is afraid to seek audience with Trump especially when there's evidence they donated to Kamala Harris election. |
