Nope. It is just to have them do it the way it happens in real life. When you're given a project in real life they don't tell you not to consult people!

Some people are just naturally wicked. Some trauma in their past and they're taking it out on the poor students. When they meet some misfortune now they'd be wondering why

You're right. There are many things we really won't use in life. But the school makes it as partial fulfillment of the certificate.

How is life with the strict lecturer now? He may still be in the system continuing with his strictness in the name of being a disciplined lecturer.

I suspect this exam might be in the abstract. That's why they allowed everything. You will not see the answer anywhere except you use your common sense

Nope. Its a project. Its a real life test. It will be very difficult to get an A from this exams

It's purely practical question where you write code and develop algorithms. If you like call heaven you wouldn't get answer. If you consult tutors online, they will not respond in less than 24 hours. OYO
