Many people believe that the Bible is the word of God making every information in it true as it is believed that God cannot lie.

However, times and times and even research findings have shown that some of the information in the Bible are not true.

I agree with you opinion. Let's just say the part where you said letter killeth is lacking context.

The letter which Paul said killeth is the 10 commandment and not the history account and utterances of the spirit. Those cannot kill but must be critically analyzed.
