These are the cases reported in the media. The SA flight to Nigeria every week is filled with bodies of Nigerians.

If SA is the only country where I can live and work, then I would rather remain in Nigeria.

Nigerians aren't 'great'. Nigeria herself isn't great either.

Those qualities you mentioned (self-belief, confidence etc). aren't unique to Nigeria. Other nations have these qualities too.
Of course Nigerians are great from the perspective that their achievements in the diaspora stands out impressively.

I believe you're simply being pedantic because it it citizens of host nations who note this about Nigerians and not Nigerians blowing their own trumpets.

Per the bolded, yes others have those qualities too, but in varying degrees. It is not a case of seeking to denigrate others.

You may be displeased by what you consider bragging but Nigerians don't say these things about themselves. Other say it with their own mouths about Nigerians. Go and argue with them.

Funny how you noticed he always try to blame the Yorubas and it makes you feel angry..... Yet you turn a blind eye when your own people heaps blame on the igbos about every single thread posted on this forum..... Such hypocrisy..... We deserve our leaders
I am not Nairaland police. Fell free to call out posters, similar to Kettykin, who use virtually every single post they deliverer here to denigrate other ethnic groups.

Not really.

On a per capita basis, these 'achievements' rank low, very low indeed.

Pedantic? No.

I just tell it like it is.

It is a case of seeking to denigrate others. Multiple threads on this very platform prove this point.

From way, way back, Nigeria got used to describing her continental neighbours (near and far) with thinly disguised contempt. A good example of this is the constant reference (by Nigerians) to "all these small, small African countries". undecided There are more examples of speech like this and it isn't friendly banter or friendly rivalry.

You are taking this very personal.

While some may have positive things to say about Nigerians...a large number do not. The anti-Nigeria sentiment is rising. In some of these countries with a large Nigerian immigrant population, there have been anti-Nigeria protests and demonstrations. Have there been any pro-Nigeria demonstrations? undecided

Of course these videos will make Nigerians feel happy. Its a natural human reaction to commendation or praise.

The problem is that Nigeria itself is not doing well at all. So there is a sense of confusion when all these superlatives (from admirers in these videos) are matched against the reality that is life in Nigeria.

Nigeria itself has to function properly. That is the first order of business.

No, it could be police brutality that could befall anyone including SAns. But it could also be this:
Nigerians attacking the state of SA ( police station)🤮

You are horrible!

Full of deceit. Imagine recycling old unrelated news report, just to justify and defend systemic injustice and disdain on Nigerians that is glaring in the eyes of everyone

Okay.

It was Mozambicans that mudered him! Good to finally know about it, because i was hearing it was nigerians or south-africans.

As a big influencer that lucky dube is, i was worried as to why he was being killed. In 2010, i was quite young to know about the events that led to his death.

I appreciate so much.
Have a wonderful and splendid evening ahead.
