raumdeuter:The incident in Lagos is not online, don't be clever by half,egbon.... There are Igbos in other SW states, they don't have problems with indigenes offline whether during election cycle or not |

Amigoss:Ask those Obidients old enough to vote in 2011 and 2015 who they voted for? You will likely hear they did for Jonathan |

raumdeuter:[s]Achebe originally used "Igbos" in his works and not Ibo as you're claiming [/s]. Having said that, it would be wrong for me to be referring to my Yoruba brothers as Yoruba because Femi Fano Kayode said so. NB: Achebe started with Ibo because of the time but later transitioned to Igbo in his later works.

raumdeuter:Lool,if so,the numbers obidient and Atiku's PDP pulled added together would have been enough to defeat Buhari in 2019, what happened then ![]() |

iamoyindamola:It's Igbo. It was the British that started the Ibo stuff cos of pronunciation but the correct spelling is Igbo.

![]() A statement by NNPCL reads, “The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has officially ruled out the sale of the Port Harcourt Refining Company, reaffirming its commitment to completing high-grade rehabilitation and retention of the plant. “The ongoing review indicates that the earlier decision to operate the Port Harcourt refinery, before full completion of its rehabilitation, was ill-informed and subcommercial. ”Although progress is being made on all three, the emerging outlook calls for more advanced technical partnerships to complete and high-grade the rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt refinery. ”Thus, selling is highly unlikely as it would lead to further value erosion.” Cc LiveLongNprospa |

Amigoss:The same set of people who voted Atku-Obi voted for Jonathan-Sambo in 2015 and lost The difference from 2011 was the SW votes who moved from Jonathan to Buhari |

Other than the spelling difference, is there anything else that Ibo connotes? I spelled it Ibo for the longest, was checked one time and have since stuck with Igbo, but curious as to if Ibo means anything other than another spelling of the word Igbo. I often see it as something that wasn't really anything suddenly made to become something more than it was, and now it's indeed become a thing ![]() |

raumdeuter:It's what the law says bro, we can question it, but it is, what it is. If a situation like this happen, and you give 5.0 this same reason you gave, you'd be amazed at how many replies they'd use to counter you. They know the law, and they know how to twist and counter it. It's why I urge every Nigerian to go get a copy of Police Act, so they can safe guard themselves against their excesses... Still, you know what they say "if you want to kill a black man, give him a book to read". |

Ellexy:Are u sure this is the reason? If the claim that the British Anglicized "Igbo" by calling it "Ibo", why did same not apply to Yoruba words/places like Ogbomosho, Osogbo, Oyingbo, etc that have the sound "gb" which is present in the Yoruba alphabet but not in the English alphabet? |

airmark:Always the aid spewing trashes as usual The one that told you he bought 400suvs for kinsmen went further to tell u another thing about same suv but agenda must sha agend..I understand. A man that doesn’t take pension till today, left a huge amount of cash that can be termed “missing” without any trace is way better than all these two two naira money laundering u are painting.. |

Segedinho:Sincerely I also have info from those that worked with Obi at Fidelity, it's still the same stealth operation by him as reported. Only those who worked closely with him got to know first hand that he deceives for a living. You have been delivered, the choice is yours to remain deceived or delivered. |

airmark:Says someone that stans Tinubu.. Obviously you and the friends are not only jokers but bittered one cos all these shenanigans to rub Obi alongside Tinubu are just wack propaganda. So if I may ask, what did ur same friend that worked closely with Tinubu (even his classmates) told u about Tinubu and co ![]() Let me quickly chip this in,Obi is not a saint neither is he with no wrongs/mistake/error/lies/exaggeration but in today’s crops of your favorite politicians…He is 100yards ahead in terms of cleanliness…. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by airmark(m): 5:51pm On Jul 30, 2025 |
Segedinho:I need a performer and not a deceiver as President. You won't see me campaigning for Fayose for President because 'na my brother', when he underperformed as Governor. Like Okpa asked with no answer from all you Obidients, what infrastructural developments did Obi make in 8 years in Anambra? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Segedinho(m): 5:59pm On Jul 30, 2025 |
airmark:Every gov performs best in some specific areas and being fair in the rest even if they cannot cover all The sensible ones thrives in their best Areas leaving behind resources for the upcoming ones Your favs eats everything without anything to show for it and you want to rope everything together. A deceiver is far better than tyour fav that will eat everything including the crumbs with nothing to show for it. A performer performs best in some very vital areas wch Obi did exceptionally well eg academy Tinubu has borrowed more than the “clueless” Buhari even without subsidy….he isn’t just a deceiver but worse… 2 years down the line, what has ur performer done ?? |
