I’m a hardcore Tinubu supporter, but he is making serious mistakes I didn’t expect him to make.

Nigeria is neck in debt and instead of having that at the back of his mind, he is showing serious signs of fiscal indiscipline. At a time we are supposed to be prioritizing the Naira, the president is saying ‘dollar equivalent’ on national television. This is not a good example from the commander in chief himself. Someone wrote that speech and advised him to give away $100,000. He should sack that person.
I disagree.

The general response towards the move has been positive. We can all have our opinion but good governance and infrastructural development do not need us to trade away recognition of those who bring the nation honour.

Any hardware is only as good as the software within it.

I am not poor like you wish. I am against wastage and lack of priority. If that makes no sense to you, of course you'll have something negative to say.
Did you say wastage? Na wa ooooooh! If rewarding athletes that brought glory and honor and most importantly giving Nigerians reason to celebrate a waste what will you call embarking over #24m to mount one street light or budgeting the same #24m to install CCTV cameras in a state house? I hope you know that with just one stroke of a pen these political leaders have signed away bigger amounts for their personal use. I could go on and on let's just be happy for these girls who are ordinary Nigerians like you and I who God just remembered owing to the fact that most of these struggled a lot we heard stories of how some of them begged money to transport themselves back to their base because NFF left them stranded after honouring match invites.

Until then but for now let them enjoy their own piece of the national cake God used Tinubu give them because some other president wouldn't have given that much to them.
