OP, I doubt the pictures you labelled as Ashley sisters watching in the stand during the final match is true, this picture is that of a woman married to a Nigerian and her daughter. I watched a video of the mother and daughter with the husband being interviewed shortly after exiting the stadium after the final match.

The older woman is the mother, the girl is the daughter of the woman married to a Yoruba man from Kwara State.

Even Ashley said they are not her sister and mother and she get that a lot of times but they are family because they always come to support so they are her family.

Pic1: the ladies in the picture have no connection with Ashleigh Plumptre. They are fans all the way from Kwara State Nigeria.

The older woman is a wife of a Nigerian man from Kwara. He took his white wife and his two mixed race daughters to Morocco to watch the Wafcon and when the camera captured them in the final match, Nigerian bloggers started posting online that the older woman is Ashleigh's mother and her daughter, Ashleigh's sister.

The man was interviewed along with his family in one of the videos I watched recently. Ashleigh herself has denied knowing them.

In fact Plumptre herself alluded to this in an interview after the match. Some over zealous journalists labelled that family as hers.

Nigeria and fraud

Ashleigh is more Nigerian than many of us that were even born and raised in Nigeria. I listened to some of her interviews and her love for the country really made me question my own patriotism sometimes.
