The Super Falcons were meant to have an open top bus parade in Abuja, but it rained very heavily on the day that they came back, so the parade was cancelled.

However, it was sunny when the Falcons arrived Lagos yesterday and they had an open top bus parade in the city.

The Falcons also took the opportunity to visit their sponsors to thank them. They were at Nigerian Breweries Headquarters at Iganmu, at MTN Headquarters at Falomo, they were also at Tetrazzini and many other sponsors' offices. The sponsors gave them cash gifts, for example, Nigerian Breweries gave them ₦50 million.

The Falcons were hosted to dinner by their sponsors. There were many stars at the dinner.

Jennifer Echegini is enjoying Lagos. She wanted to open the window, but one of the other falcons told her not to, that she's in Lagos and they can steal her phone.

She said that she's enjoying the atmosphere and the vibe of the crowd.

People have been asking where Esther Okoronkwo and Michelle Alozie are. They were not at the victory celebrations in Abuja.

I don't know exactly where they are, but they have been posting videos on social media and the locations (attached to the videos) is Ikeja.

Esther Okoronkwo was born in Umueze in Abia State. She spent part of her childhood there. The family then moved to Richmond, Texas in the United States when she was a child.

Michelle Alozie was born in La Jolla, California.

In this video, Esther Okoronkwo was teaching Michelle Alozie how to speak Pidgin.

Can you imagine the weird prank Why would she ask Satan lovers to take more money than Jesus lovers?

For those who always tell citizens to focus on governors or legislators when criticising governance, this is why most of the focus is always on the president. While it's good advice to also criticise the others, it is not uncommon for the main focus to be on the president.

What the president does matters.

The Falcons are being celebrated now more than ever because this president celebrated them more than any before him. This is why state governors and even individuals that would have probably gone on as if nothing happened are now eager to show that they, too, celebrated them.

To get it right as a country, the man who is president must be a visionary and someone who's ready to sacrifice for the good of this country.

Until that happens, this country will continue to struggle.
