How I Lost ₦50,000 To “due Process” – And Learnt A Bitter Lesson About Tinted G by Ogamotto(op): 9:03am On Jul 31, 2025
I once paid ₦50,000 for a Police Character Certificate.

Not for japa, not for job. Just to process a simple tinted glass permit through the "right channel".

No updates. No follow-up. Till today, nothing.

What hurt most wasn’t even the money — it was the silence. The way the system swallowed it like I never existed.

Meanwhile, someone I know got theirs in 3 days — no stress, no delay. Just connection.

That was when I understood:

In Nigeria, following due process is sometimes the slowest scam.

Your receipt is not proof of progress.

And in many offices, money without name-dropping is like pure water poured on granite.

So yes…
If you’re confused about why permits delay, why approvals get stuck for months…
It’s not you.

It’s the invisible bottlenecks they won’t post online.

I’m not here to rant. I just feel more Nigerians should document these losses — maybe that’s the only accountability we’ll ever get.

It's unfortunate that such people would blame leadership of the country of not doing things right, meanwhile on their little way to do their job, they would delay it without being stacked

You're right. It's a cycle of frustration. And sadly, even the ones who try to do things the right way get punished for it. I just shared my own L so others can learn or speak up too."

Go straight to your catch, you usually start with story. We know you'll soon use your other moniker isrealoski/Easyinfoguide to post your scam

HopeGying:
❌SCAM Alert

The Op is a coded scàmmeér. Once you send him money to process the Tinted for you, he'll start giving you excuses, attributing the delay on the Police portal.

Do business with him at your own risk.
