Though there is a likelihood he will be vice to Atiku but the North South dycotomy will make him lose the credibility he has with the youth especially from the South who believe the North should not take the south for a ride.
It's a dilemma for him. He loses on either, so the question is 'does he want to lose honorably of dishonorably?'.
If he deputize Atiku and he loses he will be remembered as a former VICE presidential candidate which is diminishing to his political credentials compared to him being remembered as a presidential candidate.

Bashir El-rufai, is very poor in analysing politics. I do tell people when and where Atiku lost the clear chance of becoming Nigeria President.

Had it been Alh. Atiku is a well calculative politician, he should have pinch his tent beside the former President Goodluck in the year 2014 election and make sure he rally round him in the north to get his second term ambition actualised.

This move would have paved him a clear way and position him to be the next president, because it would have automatically become the northern time to produce and effort he would have played behind Jonathan must have surely scored him more support from the southern regions, but he failed due to his over ambisious and got it wrong woefully.

1. Jagaban was not in control of his party then. There were internal forces working against him but now he is in full control.
2. Many Christians do not trust his Muslim Muslim ticket thereby voting against him but now Christians have enjoyed more Key appointment in this government which will change the dynamics.
3. He has the power of incumbency and many governors and gravitating towards him even from the opposition.

Statement as this is why Nigeria can never make any progress. We are not looking for a very competent individual to make Nigeria better instead the thought is about who defeats who. Nigeria needs a competent individual and at the same time neutral. Obi on the other hand isn't, he is just over hyped. The solution to Nigeria's problem is to look beyond these recycled politicians. We need to start looking out for neutral individuals genuinely interested in making Nigeria better.

If Obi contest two more times against Tinubu if constitution permit it,

Tinubu will defeat more and more, while he will be deceiving his followers
