He said he didn't borrow money and he is having a negative transaction history.
This is my first time of seeing such a transaction history.

This is exactly the same reason I left Eco bank since 5 years ago.....

I even went to complain to their customer care but the werey was insisting that I was the one who borrowed money . Na instantly I break my ATM card right in their presence and I walked out of their bank angrily

The truth is that i believe it's an insider job....and with the help of these fraudsters parading themselves as yahoo boys

He clicked on salary advance they credited him the money. Your guy don chop am . Go through your transaction history you will see when you were credited

I got a debit of 59k from GTBank because someone send me the money but his bank did not debit him.

I ran away from the bank since.

I petitioned CBN no way no reply

I know someone who GTB left a deficit of - ₦970k+ in his savings account.

A savings account with no overdraft or credit facility.

How is it possible to overdraw a savings account?

He reported to CBN, to CCB all after GTB refused to resolve it, yet nothing was done.

It's been like that for years now and he stopped using GTB.

If he isn't a salary earner and didn't mistakenly clicked on the salary loan which by the way he would have noticed immediately he was credited then it has to be an inside job in collaboration with those yahoo boys.

I wish permanent closing of accounts in commercial banks is easy. I have two accounts that want expunged.

Lol My Wema Alat ordinary Savings borrow me up to 100k to 200k monthly and is a savings account so far the account sees inflow Alot maybe dem don run u street....

This may be due to bank charges that don't post to the account until the end of the billing cycle. Before the charges, your friend probably had made withdrwawals or had credit below the amount of the charges. He can simply click on the transaction history or request bank statement to see the charges. It's not everything you run to the internet to complain. Do the research first.

Before I opened this thread, I already knew it was GTB.

It's why I abandoned Zenith. They charged me -240k. Later, they paid themselves half of it; now it is 120k remaining. I have since suspended all dealings with those criminals.

Yes, it's possible. This happens when you don't have money in the account and the bank deducts their charge for account maintenance.

This is very nonnsense thing. Why do some Banks rob the customers like this? I'm glad that no matter how small money I left in my GTBank, they only always send me messages of profit deposits/increase because it is Savings Account.

And then block her number! This is the sensible thing to do. I say so because I did exactly same, mine was even far worse than yours. She was weeping profusely with quivering voice and legs when my friend gave her my number. My friend was so angry with her when he later came to my House, because just like his own wife, she already has 3 awesome Children for her husband. Check from his transaction history very well. Sometimes someone might have mistakenly credited his account in the past which he might not have realised OR maybe he might also be aware and it was reported to the bank. With a court order the bank will definitely return the fund to the sender.
