This was the terrifying moment when a group of Africans were filmed stranded in a small boat, deep in the middle of a vast and open sea. Their boat had begun to sink after suffering a mechanical failure, leaving them helpless and surrounded by water.

What made the situation even more alarming was that most of them were not wearing life jackets. In the footage, they can be seen frantically waving their hands, clearly signaling for help.

Surprisingly, their calm and composed behavior sparked conversation online. Despite the life-threatening situation, they remained quiet and didn’t scream, which many viewers found unusual and even admirable.

Na high sea between libya and europe my guy die way back 2007. Na last year I was finally told by his mum that my friend wey I dey always talk of b4 and after he traveled abroad don die since the last time I visited shortly b4 he left for Libya in june, 2007.

That's what our government have turn us too, how can someone en danger his life like this, assuming our government is good, all these won't be happening

Africans ke? It is a global issue. The risks many immigrants take to reach their promised land will shock you.

Europeans may be the only group left out and that's because they have a large number of countries they can go to within their continent. It doesn't involve such high level risks when done illegally.

They can't possibly be in danger and remain calm like that.
They have a plan for survival.

Those ones were the few survivors, as migrant boats like this do carry over 200 people. Why are these guys taking such a huge risk to migrate illegally?

Blame them not, some of them prefer to die at sea than be under rudderless governments in many of the African countries. They know if they take the chance on life by crossing the treacherous sea (life's a chance in most African black countries) successfully, they will have a better chance of success in life. Time's nigh for our leaders to eschew selfishness and egocentric administrative style; make Africa thriving so people would stop risking their lives to get to Europe.........
