lol, this guy ehen.

You're looking for a way to justify your selfishness, you want to compare Lagos and ibadan, so because ibadan drivers are delivering 60k with a CNG vehicle, same thing should be applied to Lagos state?

with this your mentality, I don't even expect any car owner or investor to take you seriously, someone on this same thread is on HP delivering 80k weekly on Hire Purchase for a gas vehicle and he's meeting up smoothly but you on the other hand want CNG vehicle and still want to deliver 60k..
Thank God say Na talk dey bring talk .

I am interested in the 80k hire purchase for CNG

Hire purchase at 80k weekly is better than weekly remittance of 50/60 k

The person doing ₦80k weekly on hire purchase was not on CNG. Purely petrol and it's even a 2.4ltr engine

There's a serious downturn on bolt requests in ibadan is it's really becoming worrying. This has been going for for a while, many drivers clustered up in a places for hours without getting 1 ride.

U make 50k despite using CNG?
So how much would u make without CNG? 25k?? Am sure u make more than 25k on fuel.
So now if u aren't making twice what u make why are u demanding twice the rent because it's CNGhuh

Broz I am making double, the fact that I am saving minimum of 20k on fuel everyday is enough to demand double from anyone, also I put a clause that if the demand is low with low prices I still net that with 5k gas. During my petrol era days like that use to see me go home with 30-35k

Pearl1910:
They can give them from the current 25% commission.
Or just come out plain and tell us;
Commission still remains 20%
Booking fees has increased to let's say 7.5% which includes VAT for every ride. So that we can at a glance see the way the money is shared.
All these hankipanki of dynamic commission is stealing in disguise. The lowest Bolt has charged is 15% while they have charged other people as high as 40%, so isn't it obvious they are stealing by tricks?
The current 5% deductions for govt charges is even a lie. Because initially they said it's N25 per trip. We still let it slide when it gradually climbed to 5% of the fare because they claimed it's an additional charge on top the normal price of the trip, so e no concern us.
But now that Bolt prices are ridiculously low competing with Indrive that is not paying all those things, I doubt they are giving govt anything. So it's still Bolt that's taking all the 25%. Coupled with the low fares, now d drivers are at the receiving end. To add salt to injury u are now increasing commission to 30-35 even 40%. That's ludacris.
Driver gets 3k out of almost 6k that the rider paid. This is really ludicrous.

Good day my bosses in the house, I've been following this thread for months so I'm making a move this month to get a car. I have just 4 million naira, pls can someone direct on the best car I should be looking at with that budget?
I'm looking at 08 accord as the camry and corolla counterparts for that budget is older and ugly. Please what's the best car I can get for the business
Please I need advice🙏
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Obedibombedi: 12:17pm On Aug 01, 2025
4M is about the right amount to invest.
If you are committed, you will revover your capital back by end of January 2026.

Leave 08 accord, Camry and Corolla alone.

A 2005 Honda Civic or Honda city will perform.

Whatever choice you make, dont buy Nigeria used Honda Civic 2006 to 011.

Honda City, Fit or Jazz are good alternatives.

cheesy Why exactly shouldn't he consider a Honda Civic from those years?

The real advice should be to simply avoid poorly maintained or abused Nigerian used cars. People abroad drive the same Civics for over 200,000 miles without problems, and they don't have two heads

My advise still remains avoid NIGERIAN used 2006 to 2011 Honda Civic.

You still haven’t explained why he should avoid "Nigerian" used Honda Civic 06-11.

I am asking because I currently own a Honda Civic 08, Toyota Corolla 05, and a Yaris 08, and in my opinion, the Civic outperforms the others in both performance and appearance. As for durability, I can’t say for sure yet, but the Honda still looks new and runs great.

From my experience in the e-hailing business over the years, one thing I’ve noticed is that many drivers cut corners on maintenance just to maximize profit. They skip routine checks, go for cheap parts, and avoid using premium engine oil. But for all my cars, I make sure they’re handled by highly skilled and experienced mechanics , even if it costs more. Just last month, I spent over ₦200k servicing my Corolla and doing other necessary work.

My point is: I would personally rather buy a properly maintained Nigerian-used car and spend a bit extra keeping it in top shape than pay a premium for a tokunbo.

You are quite a good comedian with a great sense of humour.

Only a man on kolos will pump 4M into bolt/Indrive and expect to break even in six months, I.e a real mad man. He can make that (if he chooses to sleep on the road on a day to day), quite possibly, having 500k in his bank account in six months is a different story entirely.

At best, he's buying a Nigerian used car that he doesn't know what he will get. How can you beat your chest to say this? The audacity of your remark is astounding.
