profsomebody:There might be a little misunderstanding in that communication. You normally need a reference person here in Nigeria, an institution or someone in Germany. If you used SL, use your sponsor as reference |

Hannania:I submitted a Nigerian reference, but they're now specifically requesting a reference person or company in Germany. Can the hotel I'll be lodging upon arrival suffice here? |

profsomebody:Naaaa. Ideally, you use a friend. Contact your insurance company and ask them to give you contact for reference. I'll advise you reach out to family and friends who have anyone in Germany |

However on here I am seeing Bacheclor of Science in Education (Computer science), BSc Ed does this mean it is not recognized and I need to apply for ZAB? thanks.

victorygiven:To get NPC attestation, all you need is a declaration of age from any Court. Once you have an NPC attestation, it's all good. |

Easyjay:It doesn't matter. The most important indicator is for your university to be H+, then your course needs to be recognised in Nigeria explicitly. Fortunately for you, computer science has been recognised in Nigeria. So congratulations, get your SL/BA and come join us in DE 🥂🎉 |

| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 4:34pm On Aug 01, 2025 |
Jorazy:The first is the page where your course is listed, the second is for thr page where it shows your university as H+. Alternatively, you can upload ZAB's letter |

Please, do we have anyone who used a reference based in Nigeria and it was accepted? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 11:11pm On Aug 01, 2025 |
mekusinc:1. Having a CS degree from Nigeria means you're already recognised as a skilled worker. You don't need language requirements anymore. 2. The major document you need currently is proof of funds. Germany does not work like UK or USA. You're not submitting bank statements rather you have 3 options for this particular visa. a. €13,092 "blocked" in a German bank (you get €1091 monthly from it ) b. A sponsorship letter from someone in Germany c. A part time job with €1091 net. So choose which one you can afford and apply |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 11:15pm On Aug 01, 2025 |
victorygiven:Your recognition and SL/BA is all that matters as a skilled applicant. The VO will however ask for your experience based on the field you chose during your application. This will be a yardstick used to change your visa. Meaning you have to get a job within that domain |
