With the way she looks so happy wearing that green jersey of Nigeria as a young girl, you can tell that she has been in love with Nigeria since her childhood days.

.. this should serve as a big lesson to those unpatriotic Nigerians who keep saying evil of this country everyday and also encouraging their children to do so. Whatever you sow today you shall reap tomorrow.

We d still post about Alozie's origin. So the claim by Morocco is false. We believe the Association is up to the task to give a proper response to CAF and to the public.
Pic 1 is false, She said those ladies aren't her sisters

Even though this girl originated from Yoruba people, her name really does not sound anything Yoruba but Alozie definitely sounds Ibo. Besides, how many black people have represented and still representing Europe in international competition?
Why are there so many bad losers this days? They can't accept any outcome that doesn't favour them yet, they enter into games of chances ?
Before people are allowed into take part in any race of 50/50 outcome, the authority should consider testing their emotional balance and make them sign to accept whatever outcome. We can't have bad cry cry losers destroy society in this manner.

Before FIFA cleared her to represent Nigeria, FIFA must have done their background checks with enough evidence.
Morocco should have known this.

Why not accept your defeat with dignity?

MagicalConcepts:
We just saw a malicious report by allegedly to come from Morocco about Ashleigh Plumptre and Michelle Alozie's eligibility to play for Nigeria. The claims are false according to this report. https://owngoalnigeria.com/2025/07/28/two-players-are-not-nigerians-morocco-drag-super-falcons-to-caf-after-defeat-in-wafcon-final/

Ashleigh is the granddaughter of Harry Oludotun Plumptre who's of Yoruba origin and from Lagos State. His father's name is Tim Plumptre who's of mixed race, Nigerian father (Oludotun) and a British mother. Indigenously, we can say Ashley Plumptre is a Lagosian. She has a younger sister named Bayleigh who's more of dark skin tone than her.
Source: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/nigeria-star-ashleigh-plumptre-turned-30637487

Ashleigh has represented England from U-15 to U-23 levels before switching to represent Nigeria in 2021. She was officially cleared by FIFA in her first competitive match in 2021, went to the 2023 women's FIFA World Cup. So if she wasn't cleared by FIFA since that time, how come she represented Nigeria at those tournaments? Before going to college in USA, she was once approached to play for Nigeria but declined. This she later honoured with whole heart after finishing college. She has been representing Nigeria since age of 23. Morocco didn't see this but it's now that they are crying foul.
Here's a post of Ashleigh's father posing with her younger sister while showing off their Nigerian passport. https://www.facebook.com/100076187464467/posts/pfbid0S6wSMoJu8xQfpyM1PziJ7oAQ7HT3mYGPGkXpbDmWA9qp9Z1mGzUVmv7qqgrX8yACl/?app=fbl

The Nigeria Football Association can as well write back to CAF & FIFA and report Morocco. They can urge FIFA to check the list of their players who look suspicious in terms of eligibility.

Below are images of Plumptre repping Nigeria at various stages from her teen days till present and more wins would still come from her in the green and white jersey.

She's never lived in Nigeria or experienced the hardship and turmoil associated with living in Nigeria due to extreme levels of unchecked corruption and criminality. Nigerians have a right to complain when things are not going right but you zombies would always tag them as unpatriotic.

Only International football is uniting this country called Nigeria.
If not that this issue is not football related and that Nigeria won, this would have bn turned into tribal war between Yorubas and the Igbos.
You would've heard "why do the Yorubas always have identity problems?"
If Nigeria had lost the game, that girl would've bn blamed so much cos she was confused in the finals. Her coordination were poor. She can't even run.

All the same, One Nigeria in football

Hi great work with the post.

The ladies in the first picture are not Ashleigh's siblings and mom. They are a mixed-race family whose dad and husband is from Kwara. They only traveled to Morocco to support Ashleigh and the Super Falcons. I watched the interview where the family confirmed this.

Kudos for the informative thread.

Some one that played last FIFA world cup including Alozie. It seems Morocco knows more than FIFA, by the way, they should continue dwelling in agony
This, if she represented Britain nationally and switched to Nigeria, she must have gone through FIFA approval for the switch. My understanding of FIFA rules is that you need one grandparent to have been born in the country you want to switch or be a resident for certain amount of years. If her age did not disqualify her, she is eligible though ancestral link by one grandparent being born in Nigeria

The comment you quoted did not say it is wrong to complain about Nigeria. The comment is against the people speaking evils of Nigeria. Are you among them?

If you are one of those speaking evils of this country, I'll advise you to stop it. It won't do you any good. Psalm 122:6 says, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May those who love you be secure.'"

Morocco’s claims about Ashleigh Plumptre and Michelle Alozie’s eligibility are nonsense! 😡 Ashleigh’s got deep Nigerian roots, cleared by FIFA since 2021, and has been repping Nigeria proudly. Morocco’s just salty after losing the WAFCON final. Nigeria should push back and check their players too!
