This is highly commendable. Like I've always said, I'm Nigerian first, before my tribal affiliation. I hope they'd do more to develop that region. Most of the time the people we work for embark on any philanthropic cause in the south east, we hardly see the hands of the real owners of the land in those places. In 2019, we embarked on a mission to donate a 164-Slice CT to some teaching hospitals in the country via JICA and the good people of Japan, of which we're the country's technical partner.

Three teaching hospitals were earmarked in the country, those who had never enjoyed such donations so we considered OAUTH, UATH and UNTH. The federal government and the then health minister,through the fed ministry of health, hijacked the one for the OAUTHC and moved it to the UBTH in his state with his influence. Every politician in the south west knew about this last minute maltreatment but they kept quiet...a good reason I hate them with passion. They're only after their pockets. To cut the long story short, on getting to UNTH, we were shocked,most of the donations there were done by international donors like WHO and local.donors of south west origin. There are people among ibo tribe who could build a whole ICU for them and equip it but they're not doing anything. They prefer flaunting wealth where it doesn't matter. This is very bad.

Even if you guys decide to leave and form your country today, where would you start from? Other regions already had templates in place, should we all leave today. I've been an advocate of this cos we all will split one day, whether we like it or not. We want our o'dua nation as well. I'm not saying you shouldn't develop other regions but try and begin doing something in your place too. Nothing is happening there and im not talking about hotels that have littered everywhere which only get busy during festive seasons. Invest, donate to hospitals, empower your people. We're planning another donation to same UNTH soon tru an international donor, dialysis and neonatal devices to OAUTH too. Develop the south east and stop allowing people who are feeding far from you to continue to destroy your investments and harass you. See how they keep dumping the beer going to your stores in the north for instance. They'd still get allocation from the taxes paid by these beer companies. Please don't leave the message and begin attacking the messenger. Ponder in it.

Can you mention the names of the socalled "local donors from southwest origin" that left their land to donate to hospitals in the Southeast. Don't run away..Mention them and the projects they built. I have someone on ground that will verify that in few hours. Shame us and mention them here..

You guys are unbelievable. Every single topic provides you all with the oppurtuinity to flex your ethnic muscles. UNIZIK is my almamatar. I got my first degree there. And I studied there when the place was a glorified poultry because the regimes of IBB and Abacha refused vehemently to invest in the school.

Today we have the permanent site at Awka. Almost all the hostels in that permanent site were either built by former students, or by distinguished business men and philanthropists from the east. Almost all. From scratch to finish. The federal government has been struggling with building the new teaching hospital at Nnewi for years.

To read you spew the garbage above , just to massage your ethnic ego, is simply unbelievable. If eastern states had the kind of oppurtuinities that you guys from the Southwest and the north have been enjoying since 1966, the sky will be their limits. The whole of Ado Bayero Teaching Hospital in Kano, was built by Buhari during the PTF days. Nothing like that in the east.

His Love Foundation, the NGO owned by Pastor and Mrs Adeboye of RCCG donated a hospital grade dialysis centre to the UNTH. Not only did that, they also equipped the place with dialysis machines, Water purifier and a heavy duty generator to power the place. 1 of the dialysis machines today, made in japan costs over 65m naira and they donated 3.

Once again,.ponder on the message, instead of attacking me.

So Pastor Adeboye who gathers tithes everyday from his igbo followers donated a dialysis machine to UNTH, and that equated to "most donations there coming from southwest local donors" ? You can't see how petty and misleading your post was? Do you know the sort of donations that have been made and structures that have been built by the same igbos you belittled about how they throw money around? Do you know that many igbos have donated to southwest universities without any fanfare? How is the donation of a dialysis machine by a church, an evidence of local southwest indigenes dominating in the area of donations to universities in the south-east? Must ypu southwesterners introduce propaganda to evwry topic?
