How many times will we keep seeing Superman origin stories: from Chris. Reeves to SmallVille to Henry Cavill to Superman and Lois and the many cartoons' origins...wow!!!
Instead of him to come out with a better strategy on how to end the current continuity in peace first before hard reboot, but no, the idea of him heading the DC World is over popping his head.

Even you yourself know that Zack snyder's DCEU had no clear vision. There is no story that the entire Cinematic Universe was moving towards, Suicide Squad was very different from Man of Steel and BvS, Aquaman had no connection to the other movies it was just an origin story even Wonder Woman with the two movies they released clearly did not have any continuity in the Cinematic Universe.
The whole universe was just disjointed and the movies themselves individually were not even good so it obviously had to end I don't know why you've being disturbing yourself just let go bro

You claimed WB would still go ahead with the universe irrespective of if James Gunn justice league did not do well, but I pointed it out to you that going ahead with some already movies do not mean all is well. Now, what this means is that because of the meagre number of James Gunn's first outing WB is definitely doing a 180 degree thinking (now) on how to go about it since their biggest IP has is not flying.

I used the first few movies from DCEU that Man of Steel birthed as reference points to enlighten and teach you that even when the studio is not satisfied that doesn't mean they will still not try pushing for one or two projects to see if things can change.

However, the bottomline is, drastic measures will be taking and WB will be shivering (by now) to easily throw out huge sum of money to James Gunn to do whatever he likes. One beaten twice shy...

And to further school you, Joss Whedon was also in a similar position when WB entrusted him to take up the mantle for DCEU, starting with rewriting and reshoots parts of the Justice League if you were old enough to even know this. What happen after the movie bombed, did WB not do a 360 turn by completely throw him under the bus... Get this into your skull, it's business and the CEOs and the other top board directors are there for profits and their take home incentive so if James Gunn movies are not showing gleams they will boot him out faster than you think!!!
Imagine person who watched and called James Gunn's justice a good movie is calling Man of Steel a bad movie a poor movie

All the movies I bolded here were contrast to the pre DCEU movies and Snyder had not part on them. Even The Black Adam movie was just The Rock trying to muscle things out and get Cavill back. WB was literally throwing everything left and right to see if any would work out for them.
It's just like saying the current DCU headed by James Gunn is doing a movie and James Gunn have no little control over anything Would you still say James was in charge of that movie...
