Monopoly is what no one should allow Dangote to have.

This man controls cement industry.

Tell him to drop the price from ₦10,500 to ₦5000
tell federal government to do something about our dollar to Naira
.these companies imports materials
equipment
trucks
machines
pay bills,, inflated bills
bad roads in the increase,
loads of inflated production cost related...

check the cost of productionand distribution of one bag of cement 6yrs ago is way less than 3k...
now it's been trippled...
with the way the dollar did almost times 6 from 2019...
cement if not locally produced for don reach 20k.per bag really...
see indomine tables that the Carton was 800 to 1200 naira as at January 2020
is now more than 10times the price
bag of pure water then was like 10 bags for plus two extra free bags for 5hundred Naira...

normal short time room for area here was 500 naira one hour..now Na 3k,5k
cost of running a business is directly proportional to cost of services rendered...

the country no good a all
no be solely Dangote inflate price of e goods...
2017 we de buy rice 70naira beans 30 dodo 50 meat 50
200naira man don lap well..
but now 1300 no go fit give that treat for Local again...only one small tiny meat Na 500 naira..

I 😭 cry 😭

You guys are not against him, he is the one after you. We all know his modus operandi. He will do everything to make you all bow in total submission or sell your filling stations to his preferred operator.
what is this one saying bayii, You expect dangote to spend over $20billion and not protect his investment at all cost ..... he should sit back n watch some rogues claiming to be marketers to run his business aground

No be this country we dey when this same evil marketers were boycotting Dangote or should we have forgotten how this marketers cease every opportunity to expliot Nigerians

Affordability is key to viability/turnover ... market is a competition not some cult like domain .. Now what did Dangote do wrong huh how is he after them cos he as decided to avoid them ?
In business you must always adopt measures to cut costs, that is what Dangote CNG trucks will do ... thvnder 🔥 marketers

See the Liars,masturbating!
You keep Deceiving the gaulibles audiences on Social Media, for example, you are not Against Dangote, but you still want Fuel Importations, based on Flimsy Excuses.
For over 6- Decades( 60-yrs,you have been Feeding -Fat on the Crude Oil 🪔 and Importations - through THE PORT ( PORT AUTHORITY - WHERE MANIPULATIONS OF IMPORTS -BILLS WERE CARRIED OUT,WITH HEAVY 🪨 CORRUPTION and
WHERE FUEL SUBSIDIES WERE Perfected.
-BUT NOW THAT DANGOTE REFINERY HAS BROKEN THAT JINXED,YOU NOW RESULTS YO CHEAP BLACK -MAIL because Una NNPC- JIBITI( WAYO) HAS SCATTERED , NIGERIA must be Self- Sufficient In Producing Locally, including Fuel ⛽,Diesels and Kerosine, etc.
God bless Dangote!
Kiss 😘 the TRUTH!

Nonetheless, he shouldn't be allowed to kill competition because others did not build a refinery.
kill competiton how ?? Dangote is a producer and as such can not be placed on same pedestal as Marketer

Only competition dangote can have in Nig is another refinery (private or govt)

it is highly preposterous for anyone to be citing marketers as competitors against Dangote dem dey same class

It is none, it is for his selfish gains because we do not checkmate monopolistic tendencies in Nigeria.
Name one industry Dangote runs a monopoly.

Trump is sanctioning many countries so Americans will buy more USA goods yet our country is still giving licenses to fuel importers while we have Refinery here in Nigeria. So tell me how can foreign investors want to invest in Nigeria while we give licenses to people who want to import it ?

Remember the companies will employ Nigerians

It is very wrong for dangote to produce the product and at the same time sell to end users. The game is that independent marketers are supposed to load directly from dangote refinery to their various stations instead of dangote delivery it directly. If dangote is allowed to own refinery and at the same time operate filling station. It will kill other people business.
Not correct man !! What Dangote intent doing is to debottleneck logistics in supply chain for Petroleum Products distribution.

And how the world is Dangote imposing "Monopoly" you guyz just throw that word around anyhow

Did anyone of you decide to build a 40000 Bdp refinery and Dangote stand on the way

As Dangote enacted any law forbidding investors from joining the refinery business

is it Dangote that is behind Nigeria refineries that have refused to work even long before Dangote thought of a refinery ..... So how exactly is dangote playing at a Monopoly

it very annoying to see how low people reason.. dangote is a producer and you guyz expect a competition between a producer and marketers .... where the heck did you guyz go to school

For a competition with dangote we need another standard refinery .. its not his fault ph n warri have refused to work

Name one industry Dangote runs a monopoly.
Dangote controls 60% share of Nigeria's cement market; 80% share of Nigeria's sugar market; and 60% share of Nigeria's salt market. That's too much share to control in any industry.

That's not a monopoly.

Cement is an Oligopoly.

There would always be big players in every economy.

Samsung is 13% of the entire Korean economy.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

It isn't an oligopoly in this case. In an oligopoly, the leading firm if any in the industry can not own that percentage of the industry. In the case of the industries I mentioned, Dangote has HHI of 3600 in 2 and 6400 in 1. That should be a great concern to our ministry of justice but in our case, we care less.
