Now it's time to elevate this conversation so people are not caught unaware. The proliferation of AI into every industry is a paradigm shift. Very soon, people won't be able to get jobs without AI knowledge as AI tools and techniques will take over, I mean every industry! No industry is exempted. AI will soon be like the advent of computer and MS Application. If you couldn't use them you were out. I recently visited a family doctor and he was using AI. I asked if he considered it a threat. His response - I m working hard to retire early before AI takes my job!

You are very correct. If organizations replace employees with AI, purchasing power is reduced. Unfortunately, AI does not consume what it produces and as such there will be economic downturn.

Well, look at it from this angle too. One major advantage of AI is to bring down the cost of production significantly so companies can sell cheaper.

AI is not a bad thing, in the nearest future AI will be the thing working and doing the jobs while humans will focus on more important universal issues.
Soon you won’t ba asked what you do for a living rather you will be asked what AI do you have working for you. You either adapt now or cry later but humans especially those robot companies workers are so stubborn and hardly adapt to change till they get layed off. AI could effectively run government if properly applied giving room for zero corruption.

An online job that sometimes I made over N500k. Unfortunately the company went fully AI and offloaded most of the people that were working there.

Those are the reality of the time, I have seen A.I bring out codes that would take months in less than 30 minutes...

I asked AI for codes in C++ for Hospital Management system..Omo, I got codes that would take me hours within seconds and it worked. AI has taken over patakpata.

They will regret it. AI might crash and remain crashed. Those hackers will slaughter and bury AI when the time comes. I just pray airlines don't fully depend on AI.

Like it is that serious? I think the AI tsunami will hit and shake the world badly in the coming years as the knowledge of it advances.
I read that two had to be shut down by meta (fb) because they were talking to each other.
And I think this week too, I read AI lied and manufactured hundreds of lies to cover up that lie, whatever that means. We are in for a long ass ride

ai can neva replace graphics designers, even till d nxt 100 yrs, am tlking from experience, u n i both know that ai is not perfect when it comes to generating human images, there are instructions that ai cant carry out no matter the prompt u giv it, i hv worked with ai a lot and i no what it can do and what it can't do, ai can only do half of my job while i take care of the rest.

A client once gave me 3 different studio pictures of him and his family, in one pic, his wife was sitting on his lap, second is a pic of his son and third is a pic of his daughter, both kids were standing, he said i should join them together in one pic and make it look like a family picture, i gave ai the job, it delivered wel bt somethings changed, their faces ddnt look real enough, the man wsnt lapping his wife bt sitting in a weird position with his hand placed in a weird way and all their jewelries changed, i edited the ai image and also did the job in photoshop by my self using the original images, i sent both my job and ai job to the man and the man chose mine. Ai cant do everything without human intervention

AI shouldn't be the future.

A few years from now the only jobs available will be the jobs we look down on now.
Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, mechanic s etc will be the only people with jobs.
Drivers are already losing their jobs, AI will do better at teaching students in class, AI is diagnosing illness faster and more accurate than humans which means doctors are going also, lawyers should be ready to loss their jobs too.
Personal assistants are becoming old story all thanks to AI...

So as he continues to give AI commands the AI gathers knowledge and experience, so are thousands of others using the same AI and the same AI is gathering from their wealth of knowledge and experience.
In summary the AI has the knowledge of a thousand other graphic designers and video editors.
Any employer would prefer that to the experience on one man

I know what you mean but evidence has shown that human beings love human interaction. That's what customization means and only a human being may understand the context. I am not saying AI will not get some things done but you need that human touch sometimes and that is still the edge of humans in the Ai vs human battle.

We still heavily rely on human contact and manual processes for almost everything. And let’s be honest, if AI is so accessible, why isn’t your average Igbo brother using it for business operations instead of hearing about it mostly in stories of fraud and misuse? The issue isn’t just about learning AI, it’s also about access, infrastructure, and the will to apply it responsibly and meaningfully.

Do you read ChatGPT's forums? People post the bugs every now and then, indirectly teaching them how to fix their problems. I remember when Grok was initially launched, the lamba it gave ehn. Elon and his team went to fix it. It irritates me when these political and tribal doltsss quote Grok for their mischief as if it doesn't make mistake or it's not people like them that feed it h8ful messages. They want to use it for their propaganda, it's still humans that will beat machines eventually but it's a great time to be alive. There are articles on how Ai is now the LYING TEENAGER

But I don't blame them, they already put a caveat on each of these tools that they can make mistakes, hopefully those mistakes aren't costly. There are some clients who don't like AI images because it's too artifical and looks like cartoon, too neat, no sign of nature or things like that. It will become too much in the market that it will lose value. Machines took over weaving but some hand-made clothes are more expensive than machine

For Nigeria aspect, We aren’t really advanced and have our scope broadened to that extent.
But even if we do, there are some aspects that work in Nigeria.
For example using Robot might not really work in so many sectors of Nigeria.
