Aftermath of meeting with Wike. A carefully choreographed drama perfectly set up to lure in and entrap Peter Obi. Wike is really running unreal shifts with his moves. |

Fergie001, what does this mean? Does it mean that inec recognize peter obi faction of the labour party? |
| Re: Bye Elections: Labour Party reacts as INEC delists all Party candidates by Penguin2: 9:23pm On Aug 02, 2025 |
Igirigimercenar:INEC has recognized Nenadi Usman as the authentic chairperson of Labour Party based on Supreme Court judgment which is final. INEC is also likely to accept candidates from Nenadi Usman supervised congress. Peter Obi is now fully in charge of the Labour Party. I was telling some Agbado people here but they chose rather to excite themselves in ignorance and I let them have fun. Obi is coming! |

Penguin2:LIES. INEC did not register any LP candidate because of the internal wranglings in the party. The same thing happened to APC in Rivers and Zamfara in 2019. Show us proof that INEC has recognized the Nenadi faction and their candidates. Show us the names of their candidates on INEC portal. LIES. |

This is total lunacy laced in ignorant and criminality. Abure should be arrested and charge to court for impersonation |
| Re: Bye Elections: Labour Party reacts as INEC delists all Party candidates by fergie001(mod): 9:52pm On Aug 02, 2025 |
Igirigimercenar:INEC didn't recognise Peter Obi faction. Like I stated earlier, Abure's tenure ended in March last year so INEC & NLC started the fight against Abure before Otti/Obi joined in. INEC is only saying Labour Party has no executive, hence no Primaries etc. However legally, INEC is wrong. Similar issues happened between Kingsley V Okey Nwosu, ADC & Anor... The Federal High Court concurred with a faction but the Appeal Court was unequivocal that leadership issues are internal affairs of a Political Party, if the Court cannot interfere, who then is INEC? INEC itself does not have a legal right to disqualify any Candidate whatsoever (see APP v Diri). The Party can sort itself out but INEC has taken a position, then let them approach the Court. INEC itself is somewhat confused. The Commission recognised George Moghalu whose primary was also conducted by Abure even after the SC judgement, so what happened now? cc Penguin2...... Nenadi Usman & co haven't done what they are supposed to do. |

immaculatesense:Why do you people always thrive in ignorance. In case of Rivers back then, there was a court judgement instructing INEC that APC can't produce candidates for any elective positions. Is there any court judgement instructing INEC to do the same here? |

They said the INEC is not empowered to interfere with the internal affairs of a party but they invite INEC for primaries which is internal. Which means INEC has a say in the internal party affairs |

Exousiang01:INEC is not empowered by the current electoral act or any other constitutional document of the Nigerian society, to "have a say" in the internal affairs of any political party. The relevance of representatives of the commission in political party primaries is fundamentally in an "observatory capacity". "Bro, come sidon see o, we dey do primaries today o, make you for gather progress report at the end of the exercise." Nothing more. But trust the corrupt Nigerian system to always surpass lawfully set boundaries, irrespective of the institution or body concerned. |

I can't fix Labour Party in just 18 months of joining them. I'm not a magician"*- Peter Obi replies - Kenneth Okonkwo Me: He can't fix just one political party in 18 months and yet, wants to fix Nigeria within 6 months.😳 Say No to OBI-fraud! |
