This is actually a brilliant thought.
I think Nigerians should protest against the traditional idea of data having an expiration period. Buying of data should be the same like buying airtime for calls. Once you buy it, it should be yours until you finish it and buy a new one.
Perhaps subscription based data should be for UNLIMITED DATA that you use within a particular period, just like we subscribe for cable TV and different online services. But when you buy a specific quantity of data, then it should not expire until you finish it.

Your point of view has been my opinion for like forever now. I mean why should the Data I paid for Expired in a Space of One Week/One Month? I mean I have paid for it! The same way I can call it my Airtime is exhausted should be the same way Data should be Priced.

The National Assembly are in a better position to rectify this since the Consumer Protection Agency is not doing anything.

DSTV has been doing anyhow on quarterly basis increasing fee and providing repeated program and the govt folded arms. Nigeria is for the highest bidder.

Have you tried Airtel? MTN dey learn work where Airtel dey suck data. 100gb finished in 3 weeks and it's not even the only data line I use.

It's not unlimited. It's capped at 800gb if I'm correct. And please, run from anything unlimited, be it from MTN or Airtel. Throttling will frustrate you so much that you'd be better of subscribing to the plan where you know what you're getting.

Starlink is working on how to use the network to browse on phone I think without SIM card.

Only me sef don spend up to N2 million for Data this year.

Anyway, something must change soon.

Why won't they spend that much when the tariff costs have increased by over 300%
