Okay.

But what's the serial number of the battery you have?

Does it tally with the one I sent?

I have Lenovo T14S and T490 and the back covers are bad so if I continue to open the laptops the touchscreen might be damaged. Please where can I change the back covers housing the touchscreen. I am in Abuja.

I posted here 2-3 weeks ago about my new laptop keyboard having issue, no one has been able to direct me in the right part here. Is the thread dead already?

I am seriously looking for this keyboard. Is it possible to get it? If you have any sure place to get this let me know.

Model: Dell 7400 2 in 1 convertible. This is different from the normal non convertible Dell 7400 (2nd pic). Please, kindly take note of the two keyboard.

What I am looking for is pic 1.

Yes it is possible. The laptop comes with two different batteries. From the screenshot; it shows that Battery 1 is not present so go ahead and replace it for more backup time.

We need a detailed specification of the keyboard model number. Get the details online. Alternatively, you can take it to a Computer Engr to disassemble the keyboard and order same for replacement.

Kindly specify your location let’s know Engr’s on this Thread that can assist.

Ok brother. When I googled Dell latitude 7400 2 in 1 keyboard model number, this is what I found:

The keyboard model number for the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 is 0476JH or 476JH.

RN86F / 0RN86F is another part number, sometimes used for the same keyboard or a compatible replacement.

New US Black English Backlit Laptop Keyboard (Without palmrest) for Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 P/N:PK132CD2A00 476JH, 0476JH Light Backlight

Any idea about the above?

Am seeing this as not being serious
Cos I don't see what it takes to take a picture of the battery you have in hand or write out the details that it's taking days or even minutes.

You couldn't even drop your contact for easy communication.

PH.

But I still doubt it's keyboard issue. It's a new laptop. I am thinking it could be a window 11 issue.

Have you ever experienced a situation where your mouse pad doesn't respond to clicks, and sometimes will start working again by itself, other times, one of the keys will start auto typing by itself when the laptop is turned on?

Have you encountered any issue like that with your system?

Did you upgrade the windows OS to 11 version or the system came with Win 11 installed? Keyboards and mouse tend to behave erratically when they are getting old by auto command but in this case you said it's a new laptop.
Get a USB external keyboard and USB mouse, plug the 2 into the USB port of your system then try interacting with the system with both devices and observe the reaction.
Where in PH as you cos I operate in Ph as well?

Greetings everyone, I have an issue here, my laptop [ direct Belgium ] hp 850 G4 touchscreen

Sometimes, the touchpad cursor on the screen will freeze....sometimes when it froze, it will scroll down by itself......if I tap any of the buttons, the freezing will release. ...and will still do again.

I have formatted the system to higher windows [ 11] yet it didn't stop...I format again back to initial window 10 pro.....yet the issue is still there.

Please what could be the problem?
If you have experience such, please what's the solution you applied.

Now if I ON the laptop, it won't boot directly, it wil bring out options to choose and boot from, when the options re displayed, the cursor will be scrolling by itself, till I use the touchscreen to tap on the particular option I want to boot from.

It is likely a case of short circuit on the motherboard. I advise you take it to an IT Engr to troubleshoot and resolve the reported issue.

Kindly specify your location for technical assistance by Engr’s in your area on this Thread.

Thanks.
