The group outlined several compelling reasons why the APC should zone the presidency to the South East in 2027:

1. Balancing the Federation: With the South West, North, and South South all having produced presidents and vice presidents in recent democratic history, the South East remains the only major geopolitical zone yet to lead the country since 1966.


2. APC’s Growth in the East: The party has made substantial gains in the region over the years. Backing an Igbo candidate would consolidate support and further entrench APC’s dominance across all six geopolitical zones.


3. Youth Mobilization and Economic Potential: The South East has one of the highest youth populations and entrepreneurial energy in the country. Supporting an Igbo candidate could galvanize youth participation and trust in democratic institutions.


4. Healing Old Wounds: With tensions still simmering from years of perceived exclusion, an Igbo presidency—especially under the APC—would symbolize reconciliation and the dawn of a new era of trust in government.
