Segedinho:Good that you exposed yourself as insensitive to the 232 lives lost. Not surprised though, your 'compassionate' Obi also was insensitive to their plights until they died. |

Point number five is what I explained yesterday to people who have buried their brain in Western propaganda channel.... A glorious thanks to the "Ministry of External Affairs Government of India🇮🇳 " for lecturing Washington that transactions across the national boundaries is determined by national interest.

The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority has announced three startup companies as winners of the third edition of the NSIA Prize for Innovation (NPI 3.0) — an initiative designed to support early-stage Nigerian innovators developing transformative solutions to address some of the country’s most pressing challenges. This announcement came after an intense pitch session at the recently concluded NPI 3.0 Demo Day, where ten finalists selected from over 5,000 applicants in healthcare, agriculture and education, presented their transformative solutions to an expert panel of judges from business and technology ecosystems. This year, in addition to the combined prize pool of $220,000 and a five-week fully funded training programme at Draper University, Silicon Valley, USA, NSIA partnered with the Presidential Initiative for Unlocking the Healthcare Value Chain (PVAC) and Cascador to expand the rewards for participating startups with the Cascador Impact Prize of $15,000 each for three startups and the $5,000 PVAC. The Healthcare Innovation Prize is also for three start-ups within the top ten. D-Olivette Labs, developers of smart AI-powered biodigesters that convert farm and food waste into clean energy and organic fertilisers, clinched the top spot with a combined prize value of $100,000 from NSIA and a Cascador Impact prize of $15,000, bringing its total combined prize value to $115,000. Promise Point, a woman-led cassava processing solution with a fully automated facility on over 1,500 hectares of owned farmland and a network of over 2,000 smallholder farmers within its value chain, came second with a prize value of $70,000 and the Cascador Impact Prize of $15,000, bringing its total combined prize value to $85,000. GeroCare, a pioneering health tech platform focused on restoring dignity and improving care outcomes by positively transforming elderly care in Nigeria, came in third place with a combined prize of $50,000 and a PVAC Healthcare Innovation Prize of $5,000, bringing total winnings to $55,000. Additionally, Mediverse – a Nigerian-built laboratory automation platform that combines a cloud Laboratory Information Management System, an electronic Lab Notebook and a small on-prem IoT application to provide a pioneer Level 2 lab automation software won the $5,000 PVAC Healthcare innovation prize. Sosocare, a low-cost health insurance platform that aims to further unlock access to optimal healthcare for Nigerians through access to health insurance, also won $5,000 PVAC Healthcare Innovation Prize each. FriendsnPal, Africa’s first predictive AI-powered mental health platform that delivers 24-hour anonymous emotional support, also won the $15,000 Cascador Impact Prize. |

Segedinho:The Nigerian army is another cesspool of corruption The grunts should face their ogas at the top instead of beefing athletes |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Segedinho(m): 8:02pm On Aug 04, 2025 |
GloriousGbola:This is not about beef nor competition about whatsoever This 100k per athlete isn’t among their wage nor a promise but an encouragement and a thank you for a job well done. Same can be done for the men responsible for one n a greater Nigeria, sacrificing their sleep and more importantly their lives. A thank you of maybe 2k for some special job (killing of dare devils) to the troop responsible will be very much a welcome idea….this is aside whatever they get from their ogas as remunerations |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 8:16pm On Aug 04, 2025 |
Segedinho:These guys have harzard allowances and whatnot baked into their salaries, benefits that the average government employee doesn't enjoy. If we want to start rewarding everybody that goes above a certain level doing their job, e no go end. The falcons are not on a monthly salary scheme, so it makes sense they get bonuses of this nature, though I think the largesse shown them was in excess and shouldn't be normalized, certainly not with the level of rot that exists in sports in the country, but it's what it is, if the girls didn't get the money it'd have been looted. The Three Lionesses that won Euro's 2025 got 1.75 Million Pounds, pre tax...a country like Nigeria shouldn't be spending over 2.5 Million USD to reward athletes. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Segedinho(m): 8:25pm On Aug 04, 2025 |
Theflint1:Let assume Anini is still alive and even more dangerous. A troop consisting of few soldiers that risked their life to over power him being rewarded with a thank you isn’t out of place These athletes are being paid n enjoy other benefits too.. If we are too bouyant to cough out 100k each, then 2k fit some special but extreme case isn’t a bad idea my bro.; Note….,the thank you bucks isn’t for every successful triumph |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:29pm On Aug 04, 2025 |
Theflint1:This is funny While the average government employee is closing and going home by 5pm, these guys are stationed in the middle of nowhere till dawn It's currently raining heavily as I type. Soldiers are at mounted checkpoints on highways and forests...Right under this heavy rain. My brother, I don't see how we can compare the responsibilities of a soldier, to that of a SUBEB staff, probably peeling her egusi on Friday in the office |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 8:32pm On Aug 04, 2025 |
Segedinho:Nigeria is an anyhow country sha, and Tinubu has continued the culture of anyhowness, that's the only reason this conversation is coming up, cause on a norms it shouldn't be a conversation. These army guys are paid to do the job they do, and the expectation is they do it to the best of their ability, and not slack because they're not getting bonuses like falcons. The Three Lionesses, they didn't get the bonuses that came their way by fiat like Tinubu is doing, it was pre-tournament negotiation that made them entitled to the monies they got...same should have applied to the Falcons. It's understandable why athletes get performance bonuses repping their country given they're not on monthly salaries, it just has to be structured and sustainable, not that because president likes football they're the ones that get bonuses while others that win laurels in other sports are left to rot. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 8:34pm On Aug 04, 2025 |
izzou:That's what their hazard allowance is for, if they wanted to peel egusi like the SUBEB worker they should have been patient and got the SUBEB gig. Military officers should get their due, relative to the rest of the country's government employees it can be argued they do get their due, but everyone is in the ghetto as regards renumeration hence they too are. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Segedinho(m): 8:39pm On Aug 04, 2025 |
Theflint1:There is a reason why soldiers are on tik tok lamenting about the non-important 100k dished out to people performing their duty too.. I bet they are being told to endure cos d country is broke or soldiers ain't supposed to live a normal life.. If their triumph is worth 100k then special duty well executed by the gallant soldiers is worth 2 k atleast.. Anybody with the idea that d country is poor is a fat pig |
