You are very correct.
There was a reason for that at the time. I think that was under Jasper as Metropol.

Some Anglican Churches especially in Eastern & Southern regions were not financially buoyant so some of the pro-gay provinces will woo them with incentives to bend. Church of Nigeria is one of the biggest and richest worldwide so we had to be our brother's keeper.

The word "Anglican" comes from ecclesia anglicana, a medieval Latin phrase meaning "the English Church."
