Escobar want to use their money for his re-election, give some to content creators, to some Northern politicians & use the rest for himself. That's why he's appointing only his tribal men & women while claiming southern mandate |

They shot at protesters in endSARS. They should sit down. Tinubu would rather spend all our resources to pay footballers and basketballers. He no rate soldiers and policemen and medical personnel and teachers. The backbones of the society. Let's all clap for Bulaba |

ogododo:The truth is quite simple, many people have grown comfortable with the suffering because they survive through corruption and illegal means. Otherwise, how do you explain protesting salaries every year from a government that consistently fails to meet its responsibilities, while soldiers quietly accept it? In other countries, the government would be under serious pressure by now. |

Disenfranchised:You are uninformed. The chicken change given to those ladies isn't the reason those people are owed. Tell your politicians to stop stealing Nigeria's money. The day we have an accountable president, you will realise how rich this country is. |

Some of us angrily said we won't participate in elections again after the gross injustice we witnessed during the 2023 elections. But with the way things are now, I just have to dust my PVC and make sure I vote out this grabber who only came to increase taxes on already very poor and suffering masses. Yet won't pay veterans who risked their all to keep the peace of our land. What them is he doing with all the money? Including the billions saved out of the subsidy he removed |

They will be settled their money no plenty. See for the sport reward. We need am at times to motivate our sport team. Winning African cup or world cup brings prestige and value to the image of the country. As we dey use corruption spoil am make we dey use good name from sport cover up. The money may not be that much at least motivation. As Brazil, Spain, England is known for quality sport Nigerians can lead. Not just a name as giant of Africa. |

RECRUIT 50 THOUSAND YOUTHS INTO THE ARMY, yet you only want to use and dump them, after guarding your own children and your fellow gang of polithiecians. Pay them for their sacrifices, you no gree. Evil power grabber that thinks only about himself |

The funny thing is that the ones currently in service won't take heed now. Very soon they will send the current active ones to go and disperse them. Then when the current active ones retire or resign they will now go to protest. The future active one will then be sent to disperse them. The cycle continues. These guys don't learn. If you check well you might find some of them that supported the intimidation of end Sars protesters. The shege will definitely go round if we don't wake up |

SmartPolician:so does it make sense to be rewarding footballers and basketballers with a $100,000 each after they had been paid match bonuses when virtually every sector of government service are in the need of funds and pensions are still being owed? |

mrkings84:I don't know y some Nigerians think with back of their skull instead of reasoning with their Brain, maybe most of this ex soldier protesting have retired since b4 end SARS. Now if one person or some people from a specific country or ethnic group offended me, does that mean I should now come n generalized them all that they're all same in character ? Habba now this is y we can't even unite ourselves in this country at least let most of our corrupt politicians pay for the damage they hv done to this country. |

raddyworld:after winning titles, how has the image of the nigeria been improved while many are still being owed their entitlements? if sport teams need motivation, do the citizens and those who serve the country in other capacities not need motivation? were the members of these sport teams not paid their match bonuses per match? the brazil, spain and england that you mentioned have won several international titles. have you seen their governments doling millions of dollars to their national teams because they won titles? |
