It's lack of patriotism that's worrying our men football. Though I understand the government has not been caring about them in the past but at least things are changing gradually.

Let them also change their attitudes whenever playing for Super Eagles. We can't be in the same group with the likes of South Africa, Rwanda and Benin and still be struggling to qualify from the group

Like I said, even for the ladies, it's because most of our girls plays outside the shores of the country

And most of them know they won't get into their respective country of residence teams that's why they decide to choose Nigeria

We need a more concerted effort for sports to grow in our nation

Where is grassroot level sports??

Even those who used their monies to run grassroot sports are never recognized anywhere

Only for the FG to start claiming glory once they can win some laurels

We should not be okay with this level at all

Let the country have sports academies in almost all areas, let's develop these talents from scratch

It would amaze you that Nigeria has not been able to replace either Okocha, or kanu, or even the recent Enyeama

We need to do more than just throwing cash around

Sports can become a solution to our problem but we need to do it the right way

Cos sports have gone beyond this and for women sports, women are tender, they use less physical strength, so most likely the ladies with superior technique can always win

But for men sports, you need both physical and mental balance still come top am up with serious technicality which our current team seems to be lacking

Then most of them are scattered in Europe under different training technique, It is always difficult switching techniques

Cos every formation has its own way of being played

Our solution is to invest heavily in the local league to serve as a core for our football that way there's a pattern so even if you are moving out of the country, we monitor our players to see that they go into clubs that have similar style to ours

Also remember the Nigeria fans that supported, praised and hailed them

Lately I realize we are winning trophies because obi isn't allowed to near the pitch during games.

Since obi stopped going to show off at d stadium, we started winning trophies back to back

It has absolutely nothing to do with obi or even tinibu's goodwill but the natural talents and resilient of the nigerian sports ladies who have been naturally winning trophies for nigeria since the 90s. Obi was present at the 2013 afcon finals where nigeria's super eagles won the trophy there are pictures in the Internet where obi was seen holding the afcon trophy with some members of the super eagles.
