I came here from the Noun post that made front page yesterday.

After reading the comments on that thread about NOUN both bad and good, I want to ask.

Where can someone check and see the list courses offered in a particular program?

For example, if someone wants to apply for an MSc in Physics, where will I see the semester courses in that program to glance through?
I need help o.

Where una dey check and see Semester by Semester courses.

Hello. I seem not to understand how to check the result. I was able to login and check "my progress". But it's not showing my grades. It's only showing under that I passed the courses I took last semester.

But when result came out I scored F. Is it possible for me to rectify? Please I need help
If you are a PG student, you need to score 50/100 to avoid carryover.

I am having same issue. Scored 28/30 only to find out that I had F. I just checked the questions now and I'm seeing that I answered correctly in the exams. I remember grading myself in the exam hall.

Thanks a bunch. I've been able to login and begin the application.
Unfortunately I couldn't pick any department in Agriculture Faculty, (literally no MSc in Agriculture) because it's showing
“There are no programmes in the selected category (Master Degree) in this department. Check other departments, possibly in other faculties.”

Is there truly no MSc Agriculture in NOUN?

Enskynelson:
I am 100 percent cent sure it's the website. Unless you have a bad network.
The site is currently going

I just tried it

Hello Nairalanders, please I need clarification.

I’m trying to apply for the MSc in Agriculture (Crop Science) at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). I’ve already made the application payment, but while filling the form, I discovered that no Master’s degree programmes are showing under the Faculty of Agriculture.

Each time I select the department, it says:
“There are no programmes in the selected category (Master Degree) in this department. Check other departments, possibly in other faculties.”

I’ve checked other faculties, and their postgraduate programmes are visible.

Is it that the Faculty of Agriculture is not accepting applications at the moment?
Is it that NOUN doesn't offer MSc in Agriculture even when it's listed on its accredited courses?
Could this be a system error?
Has anyone experienced this?
How can I get my application fee refunded if there's no way out?

Please, I’ll appreciate any helpful information

There is no M.Sc in the Faculty right now.
You should have tried to find that out before making payment.

When should one apply for admission? At any time? Or after completion of second semester?

I started my application in March, but most of the courses i want are not available.

NOUN have never had M.Sc in the Faculty of Agriculture. Those bloggers may have mislead you.

Admission is opened almost anytime of the year but now is perfect.
What are the courses you have interest in?

Good evening everyone.
Please I want to apply for PGDE but I don't know the right procedure to follow for it. The nou.edu...website is bringing drop-down lists under each point without any clickable link from there. As shown in the screenshot. PLEASE SOMEONE SHOULD BREAKDOWN THE PROCESS FOR ME.

Again, I heard I will need to send my undergraduate transcript but to which SITE? Is it official or unofficial transcript that is needed or should I just print the unofficial copy as hard copy and come with it for physical screening after registration?
Please I need clarification.
Thank you.

You're not in the application portal. From my end after logging in to admission and then continue application, I then select computing faculty, IFT department. Courses then shows up as empty

If you are sure of what you wrote, apply for remark. Staff at your Study Centre may discourage you but I think if a student is sure, he should go ahead because, remarking is another way of quality control. It's not to discredit the school as some people think but it can help assure the University of her academic standards. If given the opportunity to make suggestion, I think after every making and recording exercise, the University can even do this on her own, randomly picking and remarking some scripts. In so doing, they will be sure they are doing the right thing.

Whatever error you are facing there is temporary error on the website. Be rest assured that the school offer M.Sc Information Technology. That is the point. Just try again later.
