VfB Stuttgart are working on a deal to sign attacking midfielder Fabio Vieira from Arsenal.

The German club have approached their Premier League counterparts about Vieira.

The 25-year-old was loaned to Porto last season but Stuttgart’s interest is over a permanent move - David Ornstein, The Athletic

I hope it won't be for a penny huh huh huh

The reason why it looks like I’m always angry at our trophyless is cause of this guy and Saliba cause they’ve been fantastic for us

Nobody is giving Arsenal any trophy. If they win the league or any other trophy, they 100% deserved it. Very few teams have been as consistent as them over the years. How is the UCL play play? If they got to the semifinals last season, why won't a more improved squad go all the way to the finals

The way Arsenal will give some people chest pains this coming season ehn, I'm totally here for it!

They have absolutely given everything, they have shown progressive growth and have been consistent with very little or no fall off.

That's why I was veximg that we were pursuing him with the way him and hist club were treating us like they're doing us a favour. It's like they think he's the next Messi plus Cristiano Ronaldo combined. Thank God we left them to focus on Gyokeres. Somebody that scored only 15 league goals last season, oshisko.

Some Villareal fans have started protesting his signing to their club. The club might cave to their protests if it gathers momentum and decline to sign him. This is the worst of times for him to be unemployed, I hope he has enough savings

Arsenal really wanted to keep him at same wages but he wanted more, can Villareal pay him more than the £200k per week he was earning in Arsenal? Someone past his prime insisting on increased wage, his management or someone close to him must have ill-advised him.

Berta has firsthand experience with his management when he was still Atletico Madrid and knows how problematic they are. Arteta was literally begging him to stay and he wants to stay but his greedy agents were insisting on higher wages. I wish him all the best in his new team, at least he'll be playing champions league football this season

It would be interesting to see how Arteta adapts to the new dynamics of this squad. Before Gykores arrival, Arteta built his offense around Havertz, I'd like to see the adjustments he makes because Gykores is a totally different type of player than Havertz.

I read before the purchase of gyokeres, arteta was already working on how to play centrally to accommodate the CF we want to buy
I was hoping to see such against spuds but knowing our coach is secretive he might not deploy it until start of epl
Another thing he need to work on is low block teams

I can agree with you on waiting until the EPL starts to actually reveal what we would look like playing with a CF.

One of the reasons we struggled against low block teams was because we did not have a CF or player that kept opposing CBs engaged. If opposing CBs are not engaged, it gives them numbers to match our ball movement across the final third. Too many times last season, we held on to possession with nobody in the middle inside the box.

We also have to be decisive with possession in the final 3rd. We are making way too many Horizontal aka sideways/ obvious passes which are easy to track for low block teams, especially against teams that have no CF threat. Our possession triangle is too predictable as it is stretched because we are constantly looking for that width. We need more vertical passing with shorter possession triangles inside the final 3rd, especially now that we have CF. This will even open the wings for cuts behind the CBs.

Now that we have a CF, the work load will reduce on our wingers especially saka
