Activation fee is usually in areas that are already filled up...crowded cities like Lagos, Abuja, Portharcourt. Type in your address to see if it will bring out activation fee. No, you cannot use mini indoors. It has to pick up signals from the satellites.

No much experience yet cos I have not really used it since I bought it, I tried using it indoors but I couldn't, because de was no signal, I just packed it pending when I get a locally made mount that I can use to erect it outside.
The activation fee was free for me, may be because I don't live in neither Lagos nor Abuja, the only money I paid was 354k which is for the purchase of the device and courier fee

If what you have is a Gen 2 Actuated kit, then I think you are shopping for the wrong router. Contact Starlink first, see if they're willing to replace it for free.

Depends on the user.
If you are among the earliest users in Nigeria they can give you more time.

If your account is suspended you can reactivate it by clearing the outstanding payment using the app.

always plug it to a surge protector... starlink is not different from any other electronics

I won't even try to use a fragile electronic like StarLink in a Chinese Power Surge Protection let alone a non power surge protected outlet.

I have this UK Power Surge Protected Extension available. Only one available.

I didn't enjoy the free of charge.
They sent me free router and a DHL paperwork to return the spoilt one in 4 days.
Living in sokoto bush where i couldn't do that, they charged me 144k after the four days limit passed.

Chinese socket power surge won't help you in most cases.
I either you get the one I posted above such can protect up to 3000 watts surge or the similar.
Better option is to switch over to power inverter.

They gave me version 2.
I was surprised they had that
