Soludo was talking about obi. What about the appointment he talked about. In the same video, he said those looking for anything at the national level should come to them so they can go and talk and get it for them. Does that look like he is talking about ukachukwu?

This should be another opportunity to pass a single term of 5 years into law by senate and House of Representatives. Obasanjo brought up the idea towards the twilight of his presidency but it was shot down. Jonathan brought up the same and it was shot down two. Campaign for second terms usually starts two years into a term and the whole focus of leadership shifts to clinching a second term instead of serving the masses but if there is no second term on the plate they will start working for the people from day one. To buttress that argument further most past governors and presidents put in more effort in second term at serving the people than first term. One single term when passed into law will benefit the masses the most
It is a cowardly act for any President to want to resort to alter the tenure of the president to be a single tenure of either 4/5/6.......it's completely childish.

It will never solve our decadent issues....

This is what we should have and many more....

(1) They should let the masses decide such at the pools at every election.
(2) They should ensure institutions are properly instituted and allowed to function truly independent.
(3) Death penalty should be given as punishment for all political office holders who are found guilty of financial mismanagement and stealing and confiscation of their properties not commemorate with their true earnings.
(4) Death penalty should also be given to judges at all levels who aid and abet the above and confiscation of their properties that that exceeds their true earnings.
(5) Immunity should be waived completely with the exception of issues that may be considered for national security or that which threatens our sovereignty and not a personal issue .
(6) We should have only one House at the federal level typically the House of Representatives. They should have offices in their respective HQ constituency and should at least twice In a year conduct proper town hall meenings.
(7) Constituency projects should be executed at all levels to meet the demands of the time by reputable service providers with active participation by indigent constituents....

....and so forth and so....

This is just a proof that many Nigerians don't read, don't discern what the speaker intends to say even when it is clear.
Many read with a closed sentimental mindset and it reflects daily in our responses to others in platforms.

We should abolish second term. It's usually the worst of the former.

Damage control from Soludo... Once beaten twice shy. He's scared of PO. Just watching to see how events unfold

Whether Soludo was referring to Peter Obi or not is immaterial. What matters is that Obi has consistently reiterated that four years is enough to make meaningful progress and set a nation on the path of growth. You don’t need eight yearsor thirty. If you lack the capacity and competence to deliver, even eternity won’t be enough. As Daniel Bwala rightly said, even if you give Tinubu thirty years, nothing will change because he simply doesn't have what it takes to move this country forward
grin indeed, what was the meaningful progress he brought in tiny Anambala in his 8yrs of failed stewardship? Is Anambala now the investment destination? The list of states that attracted FDI was released yesterday and no state from Sadyeast featured not even the almighty Anambala was on the list. If he had through set the state on the path of growth, Anambala should be among the top investment destination in the country today but that’s not even happening and even the people are deserting the region for a more prosperous Lagos and yorubaland 😂😂😂

Soludo was generic in his statements not particular "any politician"who says he will serve one term should have his brain examine. Is Obi a politician? Yes. Did he say he will serve one term? yes
Is Soludo aware of that? Yes
Please spare me he was not referring to Obi - cheap damage Control
Don't mind them. Soludo has never liked OBI and we know it. I watched the video and I can tell you emphatically that soludo was indirectly trying to taunt OBI

Make sense. Soludo was more concerned about governorship election but media twisted everything lol
The media didn't even twist anything, it was the people that started Soludo needlessly and I was surprised. I read the statement credited to Soludo and I inferred that he was talking about Anambra's gubernatorial elections because his concern was that some candidate pushing the one-term narrative wanted to distort the rotational arrangement in the state.

True, he may not have been referring to Obi. However anyone who understands political speech understands that innuendoes, side-blows, killing two birds with one stone, and other such things exist. Nonetheless, in light of POs one-term promise being simultaenously in the public space, it was natural and useful for him to comment on it.
Obi replied because he is also a politician and from Anambra who has incidentally promised single term. Although, his response de-marketed him further ,

Did Peter Obi mention Soludo's name in his statement? Sometimes warning shots should be fired, especially when failed politicians have nothing better to do than to comment on everything PO says.

Soludo had Obi in mind too.
He only used Ukachukwu as a smokescreen to launch an all round attack.
Watch the video again..
Soludo said that anyone "whether in the state or anywhere"..., then he launched his grenade.
It was a well crafted attack to derail Obis momentum.
Soluda was as guilty as charged..

Always looking for where Obi fall hand
If you truly intended to write the above statement , then it's either monies were wasted in sending you to school or perhaps for the benefit of hindsight, understanding and decoding basic comprehension is as herculean as solving calculus questions.

Calm down mister.

Chukwuma Soludo was not just subtly shading Peter Obi, he knew what he was doing. Who the hell is Ukachukwu.

Soludo was throwing those words at Obi.

“Some of them (have) come to lie to us. How can anybody with a brain…You think you are talking to fools. You come to people and say, ‘I’ll do only one term.’

“Anybody, any politician who said that, must be sent to a psychiatric home.

The statements above were made by Soludo which mean he was referring to anyone who says he will do only a term if elected including Peter Obi.He was indirectly throwing the jab on PO.

Is this the reason Tinubu has failed so woefully and spectacularly that even his aide, Daniel Bwala, acknowledged that even if you give Tinubu 30 years, nothing will work?

If you think this is not for Peter Obi then you have comprehension problem. From day one, Obi and Soludo are sworn enemies. The use of the word politicianS is meant for more than one person.

Taking the fact that the statement was made wen his news was rav is an important fact to consider.

Also the governor has always attacked him in the past for nothing

why did he not rescue small anambra that he even increased thier poverty. Charity they say begins at home. We have how your fellow igbos rain all manner of insult on him as governor back then but turn 360 degrees because of igbo presidency to now support him. I don't have anything against igbos of being president in Nigeria but not obi who was a below average governor to now be packaged by you people as the messaih that will turn Nigeria to Dubai like. He has nothing to offer. I have listen to him severally and I can boldly say he lack intellect to lead a dynamic nation like Nigeria.

But this is also flawed!
Say its been passed, do you think they would care what the mass says?
They are not fighting for another term, expectedly they will just do as they want, knowing its just a shot.

For instance, do you know that so many people that failed exams and school outs later became great in life eg Elon musk, Kanye West, Bill gate, African slaves, even our own 2face,etc. In life, only a mentally stagnant person will not improve or believe that someone's past one or 2 mistakes will define the person for life. On the other hand, your Tinubu that you claim developed Lagos and has a better record is the same President that lacks ideas to rule Nigeria. If Tinubu is better, convince the masses
