I can agree with you on waiting until the EPL starts to actually reveal what we would look like playing with a CF.

One of the reasons we struggled against low block teams was because we did not have a CF or player that kept opposing CBs engaged. If opposing CBs are not engaged, it gives them numbers to match our ball movement across the final third. Too many times last season, we held on to possession with nobody in the middle inside the box.

We also have to be decisive with possession in the final 3rd. We are making way too many Horizontal aka sideways/ obvious passes which are easy to track for low block teams, especially against teams that have no CF threat. Our possession triangle is too predictable as it is stretched because we are constantly looking for that width. We need more vertical passing with shorter possession triangles inside the final 3rd, especially now that we have CF. This will even open the wings for cuts behind the CBs.

our wingers can shine this season with this setup, more space for them as the cf will draw attention. I just pray this season works out.

I think it is still possible. Palace want half of the total sum paid and the rest can be in installments. I think this week is going to be important, especially if we offload some players like Vieira, Trossard and Nelson.

I believe Eze and Palace are expecting a bid from Arsenal before the start of the season. I doubt Palace make it easy if we bid after the season starts because of how central he is to them.

People who say Eze isn’t a LW have gotten used to a touchline hugging Left winger. We need as much creativity as we can get from that left. We have constantly complained of how that wing is dead and lacking anything. Eze can be that creative force on the left side that is also perfect for a CF like Gykores, especially against low block teams.

Leao and Arsenal won't work cos he has attitudinal problem ( A regular Serie A watcher will know what am talking about coupled with a very egoistic Arteta ) and very inconsistent performance-wise like Nelli....

i prefer to believe they're just being cautious. I think that's why Odegaard is not playing. Same for Rice and Zubi. But the players themselves should work for the new 14 abeg. White can locate him from halfway line yet he never looks up
