Why is the person's Indrive online while doing a two day trip and still with d Bolt client?
Very greedy somebody!
I am not greedy bro, This was Salah 3 months ago. I needed to make all I can before we go into winter season. After heavy spending by riders comes a very low demand. I was only making good use of opportunity at that moment

Nothing strange... Glithronix did 400km on app on a certain day. If u add dead driving, it will be up to 500km.
Let's assume the mileage on this trip is as much as this then multiply by two days.
That's roughly 1,000km.
If a trip is now N300/km and N80/minute then a two day trip with 1,000 km mileage will amount to N530,000 without surge.
My brother you can assume and believe what you want, I'm not arguing with anyone. I said what I said, and that's just what it is.

Why a big daddy with a bigger engine, why not Toyota Yaris that can do better with fuel consumption.
I assume you must have your reasons though

Without the knowledge of lagos environs it would be a difficult one oo, but then he can start with picking up trips he knows the destination and with time he would get familiar

Indrive is funny.
I took a rider now to island for N10.5k @40 mins and the rider wants me to take her back to the PU point.
For me to know how much I should charge going back, I quickly checked the return price on the app and it's showing default price of N8.4k @54 mins. grin
This is funny. grin

There are always more drivers in VI/Lekki so the default fare is always cheaper (Except when there is surge). Same way price goes up when there are few drivers in d area.

It was actually ikoyi.
Aside that self, it's not supposed to be so, whether plenty drivers dey around or not.
The price was too poor and no sensible driver go pick such ride.
BTW, she wired me more than I expected.
I kept mum and was waiting to see how much she go send and she surprised me.
Na chinko, not our people. smiley

Much respect, boss.

Uber is not serious.
Rider can't send phone contact to driver through their app,.
Driver can't send account details to riders
Driver must start moving immediately you accept order, even when rider not picking calls or reply messages. Why will driver move without a response from rider.
Drivers can't contact riders after the trip.
But they've improved. Drivers freedom to chose order is the most important. Even Bolt still blocking drivers for acceptance rate. Imagine if Indrive is blocking drivers for the number of trip that pop up.

You can send phone contact and account no. Uber will only generate a default message that warms you of the risk of doing such. You said u have to move after accepting order huh Nope u don't. And infact u sud establish contact with rider before moving an inch. You can contact rider after trip if the rider had a functional phone no registered on d app.

Na u dey look Uber app like oyinbo. Do Uber app as u do indrive or bolt only on AC for d rider na wetin I know fit cause fight be dat.

Just when I thought I've seen it all. Abeg why indrive dey allow this kain nonsense? How do riders do this?

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by alaricsaltzman: 9:24pm On Aug 07, 2025
Glithronix:
Who noticed something about indrive riders concerning payment?
Before, dem go don ask for your account deets and send money when you're like 5-10 mins away to their destinations.
But nowadays, na until when you don carry dem reach the front of their houses (or destination) before dem go start asking for ur account details, thus wasting person time, angry when it's not bolt. sad
Where are those riders that used to payment before getting to their destinations huh
Where are they? huh
Same thing I noticed o. I dey always tell them make dem run am sharply when I don almost reach their destination. One even told me: "but we've not reach na" I tell am say I dey rush abeg.

bolt and their unstable policies, they have removed priority category from the categories and bolt category price is ridiculous.

Lagos Island, Ikoyi, VI, Lekki Phase 1 all na the same.
U are talking as if you are different from the rest of them drivers on InDrive. All of una na thesame. I can confidently say this because if u don't pick the trash fares, u ain't gonna make any meaningful earnings at the end of the day.
U were just lucky the chinco no put 7k from mainland to island, I sure say u for still rush am. Na una empower Indrive to spoil this business.

If you had tried to call the rider, the app would provide options for in app call or direct calls tri the number provided by d rider. Some times the number is wrong and cannot be reached except tru inapp calls or Whatsapp. If however, the rider provided a functional mobile no, you would be able to reach the rider even wen the ride has ended since u have their functional no. This is what I meant. But if u never contacted rider during the course of the trip on that functional no, you won't be able to contact them afterwards.

Bolt is not profitable, I feel bad for Nigerians.

These companies come to Africa and just become extremely wicked.

SO UOU GUYS THINK YOU WILL TAKE A RIDE IN EUROPE FOR €1?

Or take a ride in U.S for $1?

Yet in Nigeria they will give drivers rides of N1,500, N2,000.

Chai.

In their country, you dare not cancel else you will be charged a cancellation fee, but they come to Nigeria, and let driver drive long distances to pickup and the rider is FREE TO CANCEL AT WILL, after you have burnt your petrol.

It’s sad sometimes to be a Nigerian, but I pray God helps us all.
