Nollywood actress Evan Okoro has taken to social media to cry out about her troubled marriage to her partner, Chibuzo Erikife, popularly known as "Prince of Dollars."

According to Evan, her husband has been threatening her, saying he would "kpai" (kill) her if she dares to leave him. She revealed that she has already reported the matter to the police and issued a public warning for him to stay away from her.

Evan explained that when Chibuzo came into her life, she believed it was all about love. But over time, she began to realize that he was more interested in her finances than in building a genuine relationship. She made it clear from the beginning that she wasn't the type of woman who gives money to a man. Still, whenever she refused his financial requests, he would ignore her completely, refusing to speak to her or even touch her.

She shared that she had taken the matter to his family, hoping for support or intervention, but all she was told was to “keep begging him” and that he would eventually change. Now, she says she’s tired of begging and emotionally drained.

Evan also disclosed that her bride price was never paid. While Chibuzo brought items listed in the traditional engagement list, the actual bride price remains unpaid. Her father had even told him to come and complete the process, but at this point, Evan says she no longer wants the marriage. She's mentally and emotionally exhausted and just wants out — but her husband's threats are now making her fear for her safety.
