Yea bro, just strange that’s all. Even experienced hires have concluded everything like a week ago, so what could be delaying a graduate role

Are you sure they have not call other candidates?
Because you didn't know and nobody posted it on nairaland doesn't mean people were not called. On the day of my interview, I was surprised when the woman said they are interviewing over 40 candidates meanwhile on nairaland, you can count the number of people that were invited for my position. I doubt if there is any outstanding role. All interview were concluded July 31/August 1. Just my opinion anyways and the HR said something like that too. Don't quote me o, I am just thinking aloud

That’s a possibility too. I don consider am too but my source of friction is because all roles have rolled out rejection emails. All the graduate roles, except this one, has sent out rejection emails. This one role still has application status as ‘application received’

I might be wrong o but there is no way they have sent it and there is not a single screenshot flying around. The same graduates that posted the five other roles won’t post this one role? And why is the application status of just that one role still active and on ‘application received’? The remaining graduate roles have changed to ‘no longer under consideration’

If they have selected the people they want it would have changed to application not considered .That exam is not difficult for someone not to get to interview stage

it's not about the test being simple, ExxonMobil can't employ everyone. You don't set the standards for them to grade you no matter how simple the interview or test is, they would decide by their own metrics who to employ

If they have gotten who they want then they should change the application status

Okay. But there is really nothing to hide about what graduate role it is. The name of the role is like the most basic info the person could share. I don’t know how to put it but it’s something you share without feeling like you shared something important.
