Adaumunocha:If only he used that best option in Anambra when he was governor maybe some of us would have considered him, someone that couldn't turn around a state in 8 years want to fix Nigerian in 4 years, I bet you Obi will find it difficult to pass a single budget through the National assembly in 4 years. Beside the complaint about the road is all in bad faith we all want Nigeria to develop but the moment we see progress we get envious of both the country and those in charge simply because we don't like who they are, and we turn around and run to countries that its citizens paid dearly through free labor and low wages to build. |

helpee:Listen to yourself again, you said in your first mention that Igbos supported OBJ because they wanted Ekueme to become president through PDP and then we voted for Yaradua in 2007, are you trying to say OBJ betrayed the Igbos or the Igbos didn't know that power will return back to the north after OBJ but foolishly supported him thinking it will remain in the south for Ekueme to become president? Any answer you pick above doesn't still make any sense as to why Igbos voted Yaradua over 90% when it was OBJ that hand picked him, see how stpd you sound now, because of hate. |

Shawnnn01:Finally you have dragged Peter Obi's name into Mr Tinubu’s fraudulent enterprise. Peter Obi, the name that gives you people erection. He lives rent free in you people's brain 24/7 tormenting and confusing all of you. Now that you mentioned him, can we rest for you? |
| Re: Crack On Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway Not Structural Failure - Dave Umahi by Aussie2doc: 8:09am On Aug 07, 2025 |
Brendaniel:The only common denominator was that Igbo was always voting PDP. Nothing more, nothing less. PDP was formed by an Igbo man who had high hopes of becoming president. Igbo has never voted any other party apart from PDP so voting Yardua was no different. You had no other candidate |

Aussie2doc:So when Ojukwu came out to contest, we didn't have a candidate right? |

The same way his so called concrete roads in Ebonyi develop cracks and gave way him don bring the same failure enter national level. Cracks were noticed on the completed section of a newly constructed road and you claim that it's not structural failure 😂😂😂 The road will begin to spoil from their Mr liar. Racoon: |

Brendaniel:I was expecting this. It is just like we saying when Bakare came out to contest, Yorubas had no candidate.. Let me tell you the difference. How many states did Apga win in SE? For Ojukwu to be taken seriously as a candidate, you would at least vote his party in your states and we would all know he was a regional leader. If you now rejected him at the national level after that then we can say you rejected your best candidate for other candidates. Ojukwu was never a serious contender in any election. You all knew that other parts of the country would never trust a seccesionist that engineered the civil war to become president so you and I know that his candidacy was a joke. |

Aussie2doc:So why did the Igbos now take Peter Obi serious without structure and a party that had no elected official in 2023? |
| Re: Crack On Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway Not Structural Failure - Dave Umahi by Aussie2doc: 8:27am On Aug 07, 2025 |
Brendaniel:Exactly. For the first time, you abandoned the PDP because your tribesman failed to clinch the presidential primary in PDP. I will tell you this, ATIKU brought Obi to limelight by making him the VP in PDP so the Igbos saw their best chance. When they now thought it was the time of the south again, the only person they had was the person that was recently a VP candidate and since he was not getting what he wanted, they left the party. At the slightest opportunity, they abandoned the party. Igbos rally around Peter Obi out of desperation and frustration. I actually feel for them . However, it is better to say you want an Igbo presidency because you are due for it than to say Peter Obi that failed as a governor is the best candidate. It is comical |

Who is this one trying to fool? Anyway Lagosians can be fooled by that comment , for 10 months in year they re submerged under water, alot of them have forgotten what a decent road looks like. Anyone who has has been to Abuja, Rivers or AKS knows that without gutters roads wont last. The ones he built as governor in Ebonyi didnt stay up to 1 year, they had cracks with iron rods sticking out and bursting tyres. The concrete road is very harsh on your tyres you need to drive on them to experience this, better drive below 80kmPH f you dont want to go to heaven. This is issue was dealt with by a member here ( see link below) to him I say'' salute''. https://www.nairaland.com/8083952/current-state-concrete-road-umahi A country with zero maintenance policy on roads has no business venturing into concrete roads, they were meant for short distances not long distances as we are trying to do in Nigeria. There is a reason why asphalt roads have endured over the centuries.

Aussie2doc:1. Let us go back to all your false accusations about the Igbos, So an Igbo man formed PDP because he wanted Igbo to be president, yet for 16 years the Igbos never got president nor vice, but according to you an Igbo man created PDP for that purpose, does it even make sense to you? So if Tinubu and Buhari who formed APC could not get themselves or any of their tribesman to be either president or vice for 16 years straight, does it sound realistic to you? don't you see how stpd you sound? 2. Igbos always voted PDP because they wanted to be president through PDP, let's even assume for a second that you are right in your own logic, So you are telling me that the Igbos gave their support to all other regions to become president and when it was their turn they were betrayed and you are happy that such injustice was done to the Igbos, don't you see you have a deep seated hatred for them? Aren't you supposed to be saying that this thing that was done to the Igbos is bad, at least even if you are not supporter of PDP, that already shows the type of mind you have for the Igbos... After reading your entire accusations, it is clear where the whole false narrative is coming from(deep seated hatred). |

creativejagaban:should his interest in the road be the problem or whether the road is necessary in the first place? even if it is, why is it so expensive? should that not be your concern? Lagos-Calabar Highway Costs 7 times more per km than Pan-African Cairo-Cape town route. 1. Nigeria’s Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, a 700 km highway. Budget: $11–13 billion 2. Cairo-Cape Town Highway, a 10,228 km Cairo-Cape Town Highway Budget: $1.65 billion |

Henix:Well this is a coastal road. The entire Atlantic Ocean is beside it. There's no way the ocean water will not shift the sand in the area or make the ground unstable. Unless you want them to pile it, as if they're making a bridge. And that will make it cost 10x more. - This is just ONE shift. There is bound to be more of these as the years go by. |
