If it's a drinking water, why did he refuse to hand it over since he will get water on the plane

The man really reason Nigerians less 😂.

I’ve seen another angle of the video , Omo he was just lucky . The man actually needs to be prosecuted ; it’s not enough punishing the pilot for breaking safety protocol .

The doors of the aircraft has been long shut before the incident happened . He deliberately stayed in front of the aircraft with the intention of grounding the plane . He was visibly making frantic calls to the who-is-who he knows so that the plane won’t be allowed to fly without him.

Tho the pilot messed up by moving the plane forward , but an argument can be made that the pilot was unable to see him cos where he stayed was directly below the belly of the plane ; I don’t know if pilots can see what happens under there sha .

They need to either put him on no fly list or prosecute him to send a note of warning to other VIPs ; but this is Nigeria so I’m sure he will most likely walk free

Only God knows what really happened , maybe the officials thought they would be able to convince him to leave the runway before the plane began taxiing .

This is a lawyer saying what Kwam 1 did actually attracts 10 years imprisonment at least . But we all know he will walk free sha

Instead of that pathetic reply, he should have just written a note of Thanksgiving to God for saving his life

If not, na "Adieu Papa", "Exit of a Legend", or "Gone too soon" we for they write.

And ValueJet should have not wasted their time sueing him. That's where Unions come in. Just let the Airline Union issue a statement that no airline will lift KWAM 1 until he makes an apology. Then watch him retract that rubbish and apologize

The problem of the bold is : THIS IS NIGERIA!. While what u suggested is the ideal thing to do, u will be surprised that the airline union would never form a quorum on meting out the appropriate punishment to him. It will shock u that while some airlines will agree to place him on no fly list, others won't for various sentimental interests.

How are we even sure the civil aviation agency and FAAN who are the regulators will end up punishing him? Remember Ganduje the former APC chairman is now the one who heads FAAN ; chances that he will approve prosecution of APC's official musician is very very slim.

Anyways, let's keep our fingers crossed and watchout for the official report on the incident but my gut feeling says he may not even get slap on the wrist just like Oshiomole few weeks ago.

This has been debunked. So recycling debunked story does not make you look smart.

The Judiciary requested for vehicles and Obi as governor obliged them. The even asked for specific types.

That in fact is good governance.

Omo, I just dey refelect on the whole thing again. The pilot truly deserves the suspension of his license; if Kwam 1 no dodge na so he for just die. To think he's actually somebody's grandpa.

It would've been a national tragedy. How do u explain someone as popular as him was crushed by a plane on the tarmac?

If you even look ther video, KWAM1 and the airport officials were standing at the nose of the plane (meaning the pilot was definitely seeing them), it was when they must have seen that the pilot was making attempt to move that they moved from there to the side - KWAM1 just happened to react last and that's why he was almost crushed.

There's just too much anyhowness in this country, especially from these our so-called elites.

Watch the video from another angle; it seems the pilot got clearance to take off. If u notice one of the officials gestured for the aircraft to advance despite Kwam 1 standing on it's path. Even when the aircraft moved and paused, he still found a way to moved in it's path again while making frantic calls.

Whatever investigations they are doing , they need to let us know how is it that the aircraft got clearance to takeoff and kwam 1 was not evacuated from the runway by airport security. At least all the times I've travelled by air I regularly see airport security officers and airforce officers within premises of the airport. How come they didn't intervene?

But Kwam 1 really put himself in harm's way sha

He will first have to explain what he was doing on the tarmac.

Political connection can’t replace a human head. Hopefully he learnt that from this adventure.

This is how u know we have weak institutions.

When I travelled in February, I was drinking a can stout shortly before checking-in. When I got to the point of check-in , the airline officials told me to do fast with my drink. I just had to drop the can and the remaining content in the trash bin before proceeding . If I had insisted on taking the drink with me I'm sure they would've called security on me and I won't even make it to the tarmac before they would've treated my 4ck up.

The fact that Kwam1 was even able to take his drink up to boarding point shows how weak our institutions are. Somebody definitely allowed him to go past the checking point with the drink in the first place, only to cause problem for the boarding officers and the flight crew.

What happened yesterday just showed how allowing big men and VIPs to get away with things will always come back to bite fellow common man in the asss

It’s true now.

A cardinal rule in life is that if you do anyhow, you will see anyhow.
You can’t do anyhow and now start acting hurt and surprised that you are seeing anyhow.

Another rule that is worth abiding by is that whenever you see a multitude of people begging you and pleading with you to calm down, that is the time to take a chill pill and review the situation.
Most times if you do not calm down your next decision will be a wrong one.
