Jonah! You will learn the hard way! Canada is casted!

Just make sure you come back to this forum and share the blunt truth about current state of Canada

Don’t join the bandwagon of people who lie to those back home.

If the almighty Indians can start fleeing, know that it’s over!

shocked

Fake Story

Example of stories that never happened.

In Canada, during your first 4 months of arrival you will surely face challenges but within the next 5 - 6 months you will surely bounce back

Crazy thing is that during that your first 4 months, there is most likely a Nigerian or friend that will assist you

If you have a means, please japa

Stories , Lies and Propaganda
If You did not so your research well, You have no one to blame

I have friends in Canada
One went with PR, he was a medic and is currently doing care and transitioning to study Nursing as Its not presently easy to get into Canadian medical.practice with a Naija or Eastern Europe medical degree and directly from Nigeria

Doctors, Radiographers, Sonographers, Biomedical engineers are in demand in Nigeria now

In Canada ,Nursing assistants, truck drivers, shop assistants, care givers, construction , forklift drivers are in demand so far You have your canadian residential papers

In Uk now, Entry Level Doctors are looking for Jobs

Would a tailor sew english suits to sell in a New Yam Festival Carnival

No Country gives foreigners jobs when there are enough indigenes to do the jobs
Its areas where indigenes are scarce and the jobs are essential that foreigners are considered

If You didnt Research Demand and supply and
How it applies to You and any country You want to go to; and Your chances of fitting or adjusting based on your situation and skills in this era where there is online information available free online ;with mass access to good internet capable chinese phones;
You have yourself to blame
this is the same issue people don't understand within different states in Nigeria.

the indigenes will be the ones to get jobs first before non-indigenes..

There will be more unemployment in Canada due to Trump’s tariff. There will be more job losses.

Be more educated about the destination you are going before you hop on that plane.

Can you survive, if it takes you 1 year to get a Job ?

Dont forget, America,UK, Canada have unemployed people.....they have their own citizens looking for jobs.
If you no get money to travel, then hide your face. Don't let hatred kee you. We are not suffering here, we are not just surviving, we are living the life we dreamt of

And he was very happy doing it oh when he could have moved alone to china to hep his brothers in bringing in what they sell but he choose the educated way, I’m not saying school na scam but is education worth it when business is there as a means of livelihood. All of us no go fit go school and all of no fit do business but when you seek opinion here and there on different fields then you will be able to ascertain what’s needful and best

You are current! They only use phones to browse Nairaland. They don’t get informations from it.

Anyone going to Canada now should be prepared for the worst and have enough money to sustain. Rent has gone haywire in places with much opportunities are MANY are settling for remote villages they will call towns.

Its wrong to compare like this.
Whats was his skill, did he have experience, is he good at his job.

Most Nigerian graduates just have certificates, zero skills.

45 Million for student route o...! FOOLISHNESS!

If it were instant PR route, that would have been more forgivable.

Cos, as a PR, even without good job (which is normal in the first 1 or 2 years), you have a sure path to citizenship within 3 years.

Once you get that Blue passport, nothing should tie your leg down in Canada (that cold and unforgiving country).

The way many of you Nigerians risk and waste millions in funds for Student route to most nations makes me shocked and amazed at such level of desperation and stupidity.

If you spent a quarter of that money learning high level skills and getting certified, you would have gotten a great job while in Nigeria, and secured work permit to very good countries.

Una never wan get sense... Always looking for shortcuts to everything.

SMH!!!

Blame your travelling agent. Better agents won't just help you to process your visa, they would also link you with job .

I have a friend who relocated to Canada like a year plus or 2 now, he was first on government payment for like 6 months before securing a job

One AI generated video about unemployment in UK. They asked the guy about the unemployment in the country, his response was the immigrants are taking our jobs, then the presenter asked him,

What qualifications do you have to secured a decent job

His response: The immigrants are taking that too

That was really very funny
.

No agent will secure u a job. Please

A fashion man that should have set up himself.

You are just lady and lack ideas, that is why you are struggling even in Canada.
Stop blaming the government and get your live together.

I can get this person to start earning and can make him a six-figure earner within 1-2 yrs but that’s if he is ready to show up for himself and make money without being lazy and making excuses.

Please ask him to reach out if you know him.

The unemployment in the US is not as a result of lack of jobs, it's as a result of people being lazy, taking advantage of unemployment benefits from the govt, and people being selective with jobs. In the US, every company is hiring every day.
Again, the guy in Canada is a cat who thinks moving to Canada that he will become a lion...no way.
Their system is developed for smart individuals. Not for dunce.
But I will tell you for free that you can go from. Zero to making over $150k a year in the US within 3 years....
