This is not a bad move at all, at least he will get to play in European competition (Europa..if they can get pass the playoffs) although would have preferred he remained among the top 5 European leagues but at least he gonna get paid well in Turkey.

I am intrigued about this season Turkish league. The tops teams really invested in quality players.
