Pilot was stupid.
This is an open and shut case of a passenger disrupting an airline operation and a plane from taking off at the tarmac, with evidence, that would have nailed him and given him appropriate sanctions,in addition to SM scorn and disdain, that would have affected him in many ways.
But the st upid pilot has now turned himself to a subject of discourse, distracting from the main culprit and original offence.
That pilot should be investigated because it looked like he/she had something to do in Lagos, that he/she wouldn't tolerate anyone that would cause a delay.
In saner climes,Kwam 1 would have been arrested, banned from flying for several months and given a sentence and fine in a court of law.
Then the pilot would have had licence suspected, sent for psychiatric evaluation,if proven sane, charged to court for endangerment of life.

Did the offense he committed deserved death sentence? The female pilot tired to kill him.
What's a full grown man doing in front of a jet about to take off? See what you're supporting! Who do you this thing? cheesy cheesy

Yeah... She did try t kill him though.
KWAM1 was unruly but the female pilot committed attempted murder.
What is going on here?
KI - Wasiu has Not apologised!
His Apology letter should be directed to Nigerians and the Airline Management and should read thus:
•I'm very Sorry for my Unruly Behaviours at the Airport Tarmac, that could have lead to many deaths -due to the fact that I was High On Something but quickly realised that I was never a Pilot but a Musician!
Thank you Sir.
Spoilt Children Claiming they know one Baba at the Top,so they brag and wish to take Laws into their hands!

My own qtis that what was he doing in front of an aircraft whose door is shut and engine has been put to start. Can you do that in front of a 20 ton truck loading river dredged sharp sand.

No matter what you want to settle out , safety first . It clearly shows someone was been adamant and refusing to obey . Even the door to the airplane has been shut .

There should also be security guys on the tamac to prevent such occurrence and it's not the job of the pilot to know who and who is on the tamac .

I just keep wondering what the airline regulator were thinking to just quickly suspend the license of the poor pilots.

Lastly in my opinion, for the security to have single out this man involved till the case got to the doors of the aircraft been shut and the engine ignited , there must be a level of security breached.

Oh one thing is cleared here...oh am K1 I feel do anything and the pilot a lady,,oh am a lady I will teach this man a lesson .....in a sane country K1 would have been easily taken out for medical evaluation for unruly behavior and charge to court but funny, parties involved wanted to prove am this and I will tell you that you are nothing.... Valuejet staff threw professionalism away, what would have been easy case for them will now be subject of different narratives.

Question to ask,why singled out the golden flask, what's in the flask, alcohol or water?was K1 forcefully taken out of the play or came out on his own....2.who are with him in front of the plane cuz he wasn't alone? and who cleared the pilot to start the plane when there are issues going on, meaning no report of what was going on....3.very unruly passengers were always treated with care especially when it comes to flight cuz anything can happens.

The crews professionalism should not be personal cuz there are rules and regulations regarding issues like this but K1 at his age and personality shouldn't have descended so low by refusing to answer simple question"what's in the flask, even if it's water the crew deserves to know.

Las las in a country that anything goes, nothing will comes out of it

He did what he did because his financier will always support him. In fact all the airport staff including the pilot will face the wrath of Pablo. How dare them disrespect an important friend of Aso Rock numero Uno occupant

K1’s response is an unfortunate smokescreen. Regardless of perceived status, no individual should be allowed to obstruct a commercial flight, whether over bottled water or misunderstanding. Aviation protocols exist for the safety of all passengers. If every VIP insisted on special treatment, national security would collapse into a circus of ego.

His media spin attempts to redirect blame to staff and even the pilot, whose job was to ensure compliance and safety, not indulge celebrity tantrums. The private jet apology narrative reeks of entitlement, not exoneration.

This isn’t about reputation. It’s about national law, order, and accountability. K1 must be investigated thoroughly and, if found culpable, face the full weight of the law. A no-fly list inclusion and formal prosecution would send a clear message:
“No one is above the law, not even a legend.”

Let dignity be reclaimed by integrity, not influence.
This is what happens when impunity is allowed to stand . People tend to see it as normal behaviour . When Oshiomole stopped checking in of passengers because of a grievance , some people accused the airline instead. People should learn to go through proper channels to resolve conflicts and not resort to self help .

Won’t be surprised if someone soon decides to prevent a pilot from landing because he didn’t get snacks .

Please what's the name of the pilot suspended by the authorities and from what tribe?
I want to check something!

Oshiomhole did his own and got away with it. Impunity once allowed leads to more impunity!!

I concur. This would have been charged as terrorism in a saner climate. How is this nonsense even possible. Only in a zoo republic!

He is lucky this is Nigeria. In saner climes, hem must have be docked, charged, convicted and jailed same day for terrorism.

If there was no video evidence, we would be wondering who was telling the truth? Was it your twin brother that dodged the plane preferring this sinful world? In saner climes by now you should be in a psychiatric ward undergoing complete examination, following which you would be taken to a magistrate court to enter your plea and face justice and of course you would have to join the FRSC as part of community service since no aeroplane would fly you for a year within the country.

A very shameful and reckless behaviour. Why must he be the only person to be involved out of many passengers in the plane?
Pride goes before fall!
But that pilot really gets mind o.He must been tough guy while in school. As for Kwam 1, an agbero will never stop being and acting like one.

Although ,I might not have travelled out of Ibadan before and therefore doesn't know the rules and regulations that guided the aviation industry..

But ,I watched the video and it's quite glaring that baba blocked the jet from moving.

Why baba con" yeri"(remove head)when the jet took off?

Please can someone ask baba why he "yeri" when the pilot decided to speak the language he understood.

Moral lesson:In all things respect yourself so that people can respect you.

How can the flight officials throw him out of the plane without an evidence what he was holding was an alcohol...that is wrong

pius4luv It was God that save him, he should be calm and respect himself, he is matured enough.

God saved him, saved the other airport workers and those on the airplane. The pilot shouldn't have acted in such a way. They have protocol. Just call the security to come do their job then you can move.

Knew he would come out with a narrative that would make black look like white. A golden flask filled with alcohol has suddenly become a bottle of water. There were witnesses, including security officers and other personnel on ground. But of course, as big man, he can twist the truth and even get those witnesses to recant what was visible to the blind. This is Nigeria!
As in ehnn I don't understand how some people think before giving statements. Did he forget there were witnesses who saw and even videoed all?yet he went ahead to try to lie..from the videos I saw, this man is a trouble maker with the normal Nigerian Do you know who I am shit..

This man is the epitome of entitlement
a pampered adult throwing tantrums like a spoiled toddler. The audacity to suspend a pilot’s license simply because he refused to let this reckless fool jeopardize the lives of passengers is outrageous. of course, made possible by his nonsentical ties ties to Tinubu
Nigeria is an unfair country
Pls don't be silly. The pilot's license suspension was valid, you can't be taking off when people are in close proximity like that.

Now to the thread topic, the release is quite strange, we can clearly see k1 stopping the plane from moving several times, he is CLEARLY being a hindrance to the pilot, this media aide normal so?
Re: K1 Denies Misconduct In Valuejet Incident by Spiff20(m): 10:49am On Aug 08, 2025
One of the hardest things for Nigerians to do is admit their wrong. They'll always deny. Even the pilot will deny not driving the plane on the runway and attempting to crush the Musician who I'm hearing the name for the first time. That's Nigeria for you. Someone will come out in public and say "All lawyers will go to hell" when lawyers sue him, he'll say "I didn't say All lawyers will go to hell" I was quoted out of context, I meant all lawyers go through hell on earth or he'll say AI cloned voice. We thrive on denials. Now this statement didn't add where the musician rested on the fuselage.
