Roland17:There's no consequence for anything...you think you've seen something crazy and you're guaranteed to see something even crazier. On a norms what he did is grounds for at a quiet easing out by his sponsors, but you can bet nothing would happen and the highest inconvenence he'd suffer from this is the cotonou detour. |

raumdeuter:You are chewing your tongue. The way to recognise good governance is through HDI. Obi's success in improving the HDI of Anambra is everywhere. Look for it. We are here discussing Obi's success when Tinubu is president. Does it mean that Tinubu is achieving nothing? So there's nothing to discuss on Tinubu? |

rabazamba:The judges requested for the vehicles and even asked for specific types as reported. Airmark knows that if it's true, then Obi can be absolved. So he called it paid propaganda. A lame excuse. If Airmark's excuse for debunking the news was that Obi paid the newspaper to spread propaganda (an allegation he certainly cannot prove) and I mentioned that the newspaper is The Nation's then he is left with two options because The Nation is owned by Tinubu. It still doesn't make sense because Obi cannot pay a newspaper to report that judges asked for vehicles. A corrupt politician seeking validation would rather prefer it is reported that he bought the vehicles without the judges' request. I expected him to bring evidence too that judges requested for the houses Tinubu is building for them in Abuja. Because if there is no such request, then it's an attempt by corrupt president to mishandle the Judiciary. |

The new normal. Every online activity in Nigeria from 2023 to 2027 must have glitches, just to validate one man. 😂 Onye oshi 😂

https://www.nairaland.com/8493415/fg-orders-closure-third-mainland Heavy Duty vehicles do not pass 3MB Any vehicle above 6 wheels do not pass 3MB, except Buses or Garbage trucks. How can the Minister of Works (The owner of the bridge) not know that? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:54am On Aug 08, 2025 |
izzou:I think the headline is misleading. The truth some heavy-duty trucks actually pass through the 3rd mainland bridge in disobedience to the directive against that; I've seen trucks belonging to construction companies and tippers laden with sand/gravel on the bridge on few occasions. I think what Umahi should have done is to advise Road safety and police authorities to enforce the prohibition order of heavy-duty trucks not being allowed on the bridge going forward. |

Spy360:When next you see a newspaper report, look for the reporter's name and then look whether people's words are in quotations. 100% paid publication by Obi's media aide Sit down. |

izzou:na you wey dey rate umahi [assuming you do] his only job is to sell concrete road nothing else a construction professional who delivered an expensive vanity project to ebonyi the typical naija governor ibime was talking about - unable to steal while applying common sense and delivering a project that will provide actual value to the end user poor excuse for an oga who immediately threw his subordinate under the bus at the first sign of trouble now he is opening his mouth to announce something all lagosians have known since |

BlueRayDick:A Tipper is 6 wheels, and yes, they are allowed to pass. Besides, the tons a Tipper carries is far lesser than a trailer Every truck driver knows this. Even at midnight , those RRS station at Adeniji and Iyana Oworo will nab you if you do. This ban is more than 8 years sef. Heavy duty vehicles do not pass 3MB |

GloriousGbola:I have always considered the idea to build airports in all SE states as absurd Owerri and Enugu is more than enough to serve the whole SE. Owerri can serve Abia and Anambra (Less than 2 hours drive), while Enugu can serve Anambra and Ebonyi. All they need to do is come together and build a rail network. Tinubu needed a wasteful spender, so Umahi ticked that box. |

izzou:I am telling u that I've seen trucks belonging to construction companies with more than 6 tyres on the bridge before in the evening. If I don't remember anyone, I remember that of Borini Prono(a construction company) that I saw their heavy duty equipment carrying truck on the bridge sometimes around 2021/2022. That's why I said the police/road safety should put in more efforts to arrest those still violating the ban on heavy duty trucks on the bridge. I know quite well that those RRS' job is to arrest them. |

BlueRayDick:I have given you exceptions nau. Coaches (Bus), Garbage trucks, etc are exempted. They are not in that category of trucks that are banned from passing the bridge. How many tons does a Construction Tip truck carry, compared to a trailer? Those trucks are exempted. That's what I am telling you. Saying Heavy Truck are banned from 3MB is very ignorant, coming from the owner of the bridge. They don't pass there. |
