The point of this post is to learn, educate and garner interest from people who trade gold or are at least forex initiated.

1. At a high level, the main bot works best in a ranging market. It catches both buys and sells with minimal drawdown. The trades are set using periodically using the Martingale method. Standard entry lot sizes are 0.01 and take profit is 10 pips but these values are dynamic and it adjusts depending on the total drawdown on the account. That way the trading day never ends in a loss. In a worst case scenario .. if the market is trending upwards, and I am in a sell position. The algorithm would increase the lot size and might also start buying so that once the trend reverses and there’s a retracement, It can take profits on the buys and it can also take profits on the higher sells or use it to hedge against the lower sells depending on the strength of the retracement.

2. For the purpose of the experiment I also have two other service bots (reverse, and normal trade) with higher entry lot sizes and fixed lower take profits, to ensure I catch most moves on the market. This is the bot for anyone who might be interested.

To guard against losing the account during a liquidity sweep, there’s at most 1 lot being traded at any point so if using a $10,000 or $10,000.c account, there would need to be a > $100 price movement without a pullback in order lose your initial starting balance.

Using my current risk appetite .. You can comfortably make $10-$15 from $100 daily. This can be adjusted on a case by case basis depending on starting balance and risk tolerance.

August 4 - Nice ranging day, no major news.

August 5 - Sized down. Reduced the lot sizes and take profit. Handled the liquidity sweep better than I expected.

August 6 - No major news. Working on an aggressive bot for days without major news.

I’m a bro o brotherly. Unfortunately no free trial coz VPS isn’t free … you could hang around till the end of month and see if it’s worth considering.

A trial would have to be the length of the VPS subscription (30 days) and If I were to allow you use my VPS, I would have to ask for profit sharing to make up for my missed trades … in that case you might aswell just buy the bot and setup a monthly VPS subscription.

Lol that’s for my kids . However it’s $200 (N300k) for a 6 months licensing and $30(N45k) monthly for VPS and other technicalities.

I can give you for $100 though if you post occasional reviews here.

It is licencing then that is cool, but expensive for licensing. Why do you think it cam work.only on VPS?

It depends, If I decide I do not want to use VPS and run it on my own, do you not support that with the license?

Then you should consider manually trading or you could probably find a script for your use case online.

You don’t want downtime when a bot is automatically setting trades - I haven’t had grid light in a week, Network lags, faulty router hardware etc Plus I need my servers close to the brokers servers across multiple accounts for minimal latency etc. Hence why you need a VPS.

In addition it affords better control - If I’m posting profits from my VPS you can’t be making otherwise because it’s the same ‘computer’.

Got you man. I do have demo and using python too just want to know your approach. I think you need to consider another approach where someone can still run your stuff locally on their laptop without VPS and it will still work.

If you truly understood what you’re getting into, you’ll understand why paid can’t be installed locally. However, I really appreciate the view. Please let me know how your progress goes though.

I have a little time.

$100 one time payment and $150 over 5 months for $1000 over 6 months. Essentially $250 to gain ~ $1000 in exchange for occasional reviews.

This is the straightforward and most secure implementation yet you complained it’s expensive. I mean you already lost me there but I was willing to explore your point of view.

You want a software with back doors you can exploit. How much EXACTLY are you willing to pay for what you want ?

Week 1 - Next week should be better.
